" What happened Avy? Did something happen? the door was opened and we caught you trembling." She said in a serious tone as she stands up while offering her hands to Avy to stand up.

" It's nothing," she said while now she just felt the pain on his cheek ache.

"Nothing my a*s, Avy!" she shouted at her as she sits down on the chair.

"Nothing my a*s, Avy!" Lady Miary shouted at me and sat down.

"Why do my cheeks hurt?" I asked because I don't remember being slapped before.

"I don't know. We just arrived," she said to me while Sofie, I could not figure out if she was laughing or what.

"It's like someone slapped me," I said while holding my aching cheek. I really need to get back to Lady Layla's house for the little notebook and to check on the restaurant too.

"Now, tell me what happened to you?" She said while looking at me.

"It's really nothing. I am fine." I said while acting to be okay.

"Avy" she calls me with her very cold low voice that gives me chills.

"Y-es" I said while looking at her.

"NOW.TELL.ME.WHAT.HAPPEN." I'm really doomed, she's going to ask me until she's satisfied that's why I swallowed in no time.

"Okay, okay. I'll tell you. The Crown Princess comes here." 

"W-what!? She comes here?! How did she know where you are?! I mean, your room?" She said in surprise even I am those are my questions because there is no reason for her to visit.

"Yes." 

"What did she do here?" she said as she sat down again because she had stood up earlier.

"She didn't tell me what she wants but she only mentions the rabbit which is me," I said while recalling the events earlier. I can’t help but be scared because of her black magic and I can’t fight right now.

"Avy we really need to be careful. I think it's better for us to stay in the Collins state. I can request it." She said in a serious tone as if she knew we would be damned here in the palace.

"I also think it would be better for us to just go back. However, we will not just let our guard down when we are here." I said because there seems to be an increasing number of guards or observers here in the palace.

"Yes, that's given. By the way, did she say something like be 'careful' to you or such?" she asks me.

"Yes, something like that. She says 'take care of the rabbit'"

"We need to be really careful when we are with her. I heard from the rumors that the maid died after a week after she was been told that. I am not sure if it was true but in any case, be prepared at any time." She said so I was nervous and fell silent suddenly even though he knew if he did not know that I was that rabbit.

"F**k." I just cursed while wiping my face because I did not want to be noticed but I am now in danger. Her obsessiveness is really something that's why I laughed.

"Are you okay, Avy? Why are you laughing?!" Lady Miary asks me with curiosity and astonishment.

"It's nothing. Sooner or later, we will face her head-on and we need to be ready so I will be asking for a vacation after the hunting, Lady Miary. Of course, you need someone who will be my substitute until I come back. I don't know how many months or years so it's your choice if you are going to dismiss me from being your knight when the day comes since I can not guarantee that I will be back really soon. I won't blame you but I will definitely come back and that time I can really protect you because right now I am unlikely to be able to do that right here in the palace." I said to her while holding his hands. I felt something wet in my arms and I look at her and she was crying since I bowed when I said those things.

"Why does it feels like I won't see you anymore.*sniff* sniff*" She said while trying not to cry.

"Haha. Nah, I will be back and become stronger since my current strength is not enough to protect you and myself so I need to get stronger to do my job properly." I joke with her and she smiles while crying.

"You definitely come back or else I will look for you." She said in a threatening way and I just smile as I hug her.

"Of course, I will if not who will gonna stay to you with your something else tantrums," I said as she punches me lightly.

"Hey, do you want me to cancel your request?!" sabi niya habang nakangiti at pinupunasan ang luha niya.

"Haha. No, so I will stop now. However, you really should be careful and make sure to check every movement of the Crown Princess and the Empress. I think you should talk to the Crown Prince about this and lastly, don't trust Marquess Ronan too much." I said the things that she should remember and she will understand since she is smart enough to understand things but not all the time because until now she did not know I was a woman.

"Okay. I will keep that in mind. Thank you, Avy. If that the case we need to pack up now since we will be going to go back to the state tomorrow for the preparation of the hunting." she said as she began to help Sofie to pack up. I just noticed Sofie who was also crying while tidying up because she was still sniffing.

"You should take a rest, Lady Miary. We will take care of our belongings." I said as I pulled her away from our belongings. After all, Sofie was finishing pack-up so we went to her room first to fix her things.

We already pack up all of our things for tomorrow's departure. We left Lady Miary's room and left her asleep. On our way to our room, Sofie suddenly asks me if I am really okay and I answered her that I was okay and I said I would not let my fear conquer me. She did not speak again and we went to sleep when we got to our room because we were early tomorrow.

At last, I will leave the palace today, and it will be the battlefield when I go back here. The palace is the one that shows me that it is not easy to live there with people who are corrupted and blinded by power. Now I understand what Lady Miary told me before we went to the palace.

"Hey! Avy. Are you okay?" I turned to Sofie because she was calling me.

"Yes, why?" I said while smiling at her.

"Nothing," she said while laughing a little.

"I feel much better now since we will be going back to our home, the Collins State," I told them because even though I said I was okay, their faces were different.

"Yes, it is really much better to be out of there because of those who watched us there." Lady Miary agreed to me as she looks out the window while smiling. We are in the carriage now back to Collin's State. We left the palace early earlier after Lady Miary said goodbye to the princes and of course she can't say goodbye to the princess so even if she doesn't want to, she can't do anything. I was left in the carriage while waiting for them because I did not want to meet the Crown Princess since I might not just receive a warning.

We have arrived at the Collins state before lunch and we can already saw the Duke waiting outside the house and the Knights. Lady Miary immediately got out of the carriage after we stopped and we followed her. They greeted us a welcome back at home and I gladly whispered 'I'm back' while smiling slightly at them.

"Welcome back, Commander Avy!" the knights greeted me and Gin as they bows in front of me. Pretty awkward since I dress up as a maid and really look like a lady. 

"Thank you. It's good to be back. Then, I assumed that everyone is ready to spar with me later." I said and they look at me depressed and someone commented ' is he serious, the commander', 'as I said he did really say that', 'as usual the commander is really dedicated', 'commander, you should at least take a rest' that's why I've been a bit guilty since we just came back but I need to train not only my physical strength but also my magic.

"Alright, not everyone needs to fight me but I need one who will defeat me or it can match up to my strength. Is that alright?" I told them, some nodded and others just kept quiet.

"Since before I left, I've given Gin the regime for all you so I believe that you should at least level. So, who will be the one, or else everyone will have a one-on-one with me." I said that's why they pointed to each other who will. And since there is no one to volunteer, I would have called when suddenly someone raised his hand behind me and Gin.

"Oho. Just as I thought. You are the only one who has the guts to spar me heads-on." I said while smiling at him.

"How I would slip this chance to spar with you Commander since it's been a while." He said while smiling when he said that. 

"I believe, you should at least spar me now since I've given you a different regime. Now, let's see what you've got." I said while preparing to fight when Sofie suddenly pinched me.

"Ouch! What was that Sofie?! I am having a duel?!" I shouted because we were just about to start but stopped.

"YOU.HAVE.TO.CHANGE.FIRST" she said as she was pointing at my clothes and now I just noticed that I haven't changed my clothes yet.

The knights and Gin were surprised when Sofie do that to their Commander since it was the first time who did something to their commander like that except for Lady Miary. So, they have commented behind like 'Is that really the Commander?', 'Do they have a relationship?', 'It was the first time that a lady talks to him aside from Lady Miary?' and many more that was unbelievable but then their vice commander stop their gossips since he seems to be annoyed.

"Fine," I said to Sofie. " Gin let's continue later," I told Gin and he nodded in response before I went inside and went to my room. If you are looking for Lady Miary and the Duke they have been gone since we got arrive. I think they are talking now in the office and of course, they will have to catch up also.

I lay down for a bit but I didn't expect to be asleep.

A knock from the door woke me up so I got up and opened the door.

"What do you wan-- Gin?" I stopped because I did not expect Gin to be in front of my room since this was the first time because Sofie always the one who comes to me if they need something or something important to do.

"Is there a problem, Gin?" I asked him but he did not answer me as if he stunned in front of me so I pinched his nose. I was almost out of balance because he was taller than me so I still had to tiptoe.

"Ouch. What was that for Commander?" he said while holding his nose which was already red from my squeezing. I don't know why I squeezed his nose when I could punch him but it was because of his beautiful nose that you would be really jealous.

"Is that just you stunned as soon as I open the door? So what brings you here?" I asked while scratching my head and I noticed that the wig I was wearing was gone.
