The Sparring

"Is that just you stunned as soon as I open the door? So, what brings you here?" I asked while scratching my head and I noticed that the wig I was wearing was gone.

"You're hai-- I mean the spar. I want to remind you of the sparring," he said as he looked away and his face was a little red.

"Oh! Okay, I will be there. I'll just change." I said as I lifted my clothes to tease him.

"fck!" Gin curses while lowering my hands holding the hem of my dress. I laughed at his reaction because he looked cute.

"Oho. Gin don't forget that I am a man." I said while laughing at him.

"Commander, you should get change," he said in a cold way so I stopped laughing because he really looked serious.

"Okay," I said because I did not expect that he would react like that before he turned my back on him and closed my door.

Gin closes the door of his Commander's room while remembering the sight of Avy with his hair that is slightly longer up to the neck so he looks like a woman. He was embarrassed when he suddenly lifts up the dress which was he can see his knees that looks like the knees of a woman but then he shakes his head and thought he was a man. So, he puts down the hands of his Commander and told him to get changed already. Now, he doubted himself if he is gay or not since he was not interested in dating even though he gets many confessions among the maids and nobles but he rejects all of it. He punches the wall as he was thinking that he is interested in his commander and it is a GUY.

I was stunned for a while thinking what was that. I thought about looking in front of the mirror because I remembered that Gin almost mentioned my hair earlier so I will look at what I look like now.

I was stunned after looking at myself in the mirror. My hair grows until my neck but still in a boy's cut but I look more feminine so that's why Gin reacted earlier and then I even lifted the hem of my dress. I tried to lift up my dress like awhile ago and I am embarrassed why did I do that because you can see my knee and most of all it really looks like a real woman! I laughed to myself because I was really a woman in the first place so I just sighed while sitting. Now how do I deal with him? Pretend that it was nothing to me? or pretend that it has never happened? or Say sorry to him? Well, obviously the best answer is the second choice so that it will not be so awkward. 

After a few minutes of reflecting on my actions and embarrassment, I got up and changed my uniform. I am a bit adjusting in my clothes because my clothing is lighter now unlike wearing a dress that has many layers and I am now more comfortable in what I am wearing.

I left my room and went straight to the training ground. I am watching them train in the training ground and Gin was standing in the front while watching them so I approached him.

"How's their training, Gin? Did they improve?" I ask him while looking at the knights.

"Yes, Commander. The regime you've given me was effective." He answered as I look at him but he just focused his serious gaze in front of him.

"Then, how about we continue what we left earlier?" I told him.

"Wh-attt we l-eft?" He stuttered as he looks away with his red face. Don't tell me what he means earlier in my room? Though it's not that really means anything but then I did something that I should've done, that's why I remember the stupid thing I did.

"The sparring. Did you forget it now?" I said innocently as much as I could.

"Ah~ Yeah~" He said in embarrassment so I pretended not to know what was on his mind earlier because I did not tell him the proper words.

"What were you thinking, Gin? Prepare the ground after they have done with their training. I'll be back." I said and I went in to visit Lady Miary.

After Avy left, Gin was really embarrassed which makes him sits down as he was holding his head. Talking to himself why would he think of something unnecessary like Avy was a real woman and such. He just comes back to his senses when someone is calling him so he stood up immediately.

"Vice Commander, what were you doing?" He said to him.

"It's nothing. Is there a problem?" He asked back to him.

"We have finished the daily training so I thought that you will be going to use the ground for the sparring with Commander." 

"Ah, yes. Prepare the ground and if you want you can watch us before resting," He told him and he immediately told his colleagues what he has commanded.

I knock on the door before I go inside and I saw Lady Miary drinking as she looks at me. I greeted her and she greeted me back as she offers me to take a seat with her. 

"So, how's the talk?" I ask her about the request that she will just go to the palace and go home here.

"The Duke approves it since I've explained what happened and he will just add my escorts from traveling here to the palace and vice versa. " She said.

"That's good to hear. I will be relieved to leave because I know you will not be endangered there at night and you can rest here better when you have free time." I said while drinking the tea that Sofie served.

"Well, he said it would be better for me to come home here than to stay there." She said while smiling that's why I just smiled because my thoughts were reduced. We also kept quiet for a few minutes and enjoyed drinking tea.

"You know what Avy, you look a woman right now. Your hair grows and the color is starting to fade." She said that's why I almost spilled the tea that I was drinking and from my mouth. Sofie immediately offered me a handkerchief so I thanked her while wiping my mouth.

"Your Grace, don't say something like that casually. I felt that I'm being insulted but it's you so I will not take it seriously." I calmly told her. Sofie laughed a little at my reactions so I look at her and she stops as she looks away while her grace laughs as if she was enjoying this moment.

"*chuckle* Okay, okay. I'll keep that in mind but you really look like a woman right now," she said to me so I looked at her in disbelief because I just told her not to mention but she was really naughty.

"Yeah, yeah. I'll take it as a compliment since no one discovers me when we were at the palace." I proudly said because no one knew except for the Crown Princess because she suddenly came to our room without any reason.

"Yeah, and of course my skills also helped you since I've made you really look like a lady," she said so I feel like she is saying because of her help so no one knows me.

"Are you trying to say that I should thank you?" I said while smiling even though I was a little annoyed.

"Did I say something like that? Nothing, right?" she said while smiling too, even though it is not genuine.

"Oh, really?" I calmly ask her and she answered me with a 'yes' but then her expression tells me otherwise.

"Ahm, Sir Avy. Th~ey are calling you?~"  she said so we looked at her in unison and she was a little scared of us because of our aura.

"Who?" I asked calmly.

"Sir Gin. He said the training ground is ready." She said so I got up after I thanked you.

I heard Lady Miary asks Sofie what's all about that and Sofie answers her that I will spar with Gin today. I think they have been following me to the training grounds. We have reached the training ground and Gin was already there waiting for me. He looks very serious and this is the first time I have seen that expression of his and I admit it he looks handsome. I brush off that compliment and I went to the training ground.

"You, ready?" I said and he nodded in response. 

Our sparring was about to start but we waited for a bit waiting for who will attack the first but he attacked me first since we are using a wooden sword that is why no one will get hurt. I dodge his attack and at the same time attack him but he resisted my attack. It seems he really improved since his reflexes are much better now he can keep up with my speed so I think I will not control strength. I moved away from him a little because of his attack, but then he turns rushed for his next attack on me. I receive his attacks head-on and you can hear the metals screeching but then I quickly attack him hard so he lost his balance so I take that opportunity to attack him. I was surprised when he managed to dodge my attack when I can not think of it that he can sense it was suddenly an attack. 

" You have my compliment, Gin. Now, I am relieved." I said as I attack him.

"Thank you for the compliment but what do mean by that," he said but I did not answer him but just attacked since I don't have to restraint myself I nearly hit him in the thigh so he immediately gets away from me.

I can still hear the comments of our colleagues. Someone cheered on me and someone on Gin. I heard someone compliments Gin because he can catch up with my speed that's why I was fired up even more.

"Are you done already? We just started" I said because he was just standing while looking at me with questioning on his face.

"That was enough to warm me up, Commander," he answered me and I was a little annoyed because it was just a warm-up for him then I'll show no mercy. 

"Good. I thought you'll give up already." I said while grinning and he just smiled but obviously strained and hid the annoyance on his face.

"Haha. Commander, don't be like that to me as if you were saying that I didn't improve from my former self." He said while laughing a little so I grin instead of smiling.

"Oh. I didn't mean to." I said. And those watching us suddenly fell silent because of our conversation.

After our conversation, we started again, and of course, he attacked first. I receive his attacks as I counterattack but my attack is faster now than before and my hits on him are stronger. He was having a hard time blocking my attacks from side to side so he was pushed back. I was just surprised when he stopped me from attacking him, and he recovers as he counterattacks my blows with his mana. Oh, he was able to use his mana much better. Well, knowing that he can use his mana well. I am proud of myself that he improved so much.

After 30 minutes, I was exhausted and Gin also since we've been fighting with our mana at full force. I was astonished that he can now cope up with me this time, unlike our previous sparring. We both catch our breathes because we are tired and we both have not received any wounds or bruises because we both shielded our attacks from each other.

I think I need to finish this as soon as possible because my 'mana' is close to being drained and I am tired. I feel I can not last long with the remaining 'mana'. I think Gin also thinking of finishing this session since based on how he breathes shows that he's also at his limits.
