*chuckled* " I thought both of us doesn't want to dance but we are here dancing," She said as they are dancing.
"Well, when you said that a while ago I had the courage to dance if it's you since you are my first dance," Avy said as she looks at her while Nova looks away as she blushed.
"Then, we are the same. It is also my first time," She said as she giggled.
"The Pleasure is mine," Avy said as she turns her since they will be exchanging partners. Avy did not notice who her next dance was.
"Good Evening, Avy," Avy looked who she dancing was, and it is the Crown Princess while she was looking at her.
"Your Highness, Good evening," She calmly answered as she dances gracefully with her.

"You look so handsome and you've grown up since the last time I saw you," She complimented me while looking at me since I am taller than her. I did not expect to be able to dance with her so I looked for Renz but he was far from us so how did Ryah get here.
"You are fluttering me, Your Highness," I said while smiling at her and she looked at me intently as if she is trying to read what was on my mind or my expression.
"Well, you are," She said as she suddenly holds my face so I was surprised but we still dancing.
"Your Highness, please refrain from doing that," I said, and I hold her hand to take it away from my face.
"Why? Are you afraid that the Crown Prince will get angry if he saw us?" she said while smiling as if she planned something. I feel bad something will happen to her smiles as I turn her before exchanging partners again when she suddenly grabs my face with her both hands and brought her face close to mine.
"Your Highness, what are you trying to do?" I ask her as she slowly brings her face closer to me.
"What do you thi--"
"What are you doing, Ryah?" Renz said as he looked badly at Ryah as I pulled him away. I just watched them come out to the garden.
"Avy, are you okay?" Ian said to me as he pulled me to the side and I looked at him.
"I am okay," I answered him and the anxiety on his face somewhat disappeared when he pulled me.
"Did she do something or said anything?" He asks me so I looked at him in confusion as I tilted my head while looking at him.
"Nothing, aside from greeting me and holding my face," I said as I looked at him puzzled.
"Is that all?" he said while thinking deeply.
"Yes," I said casually.
"Why did you ended up being her partner?"
"I don't know since I just notice that it is her when she talks to me," I said since I really didn't expect her to be my next partner. She is beautiful with her royal blue dress that it blends with her red eyes that make her stand-out. However, Nova is also eye-catching even though she dressed simply but most of the people are looking at her when she passed through them.
"Anyway, did you see her companions?" Ian said to me while waiting for my answer since I didn't answer him immediately.
"Nope, why?" I said as I looked at him puzzled.
"We confirmed that one of them is the woman that her majesty going to adopt," He said seriously.
"Did you see her? What she looks like?" I asked him with a desperate look.
"She has dark-brown hair, hazelnut eye color, and fair skin," He said and I remember Nova who I was dancing with earlier since his description of her is exactly the same as the person I meet in the garden. My suspicions about her were answered since I find it odd for her to be her first to attend a ball when noble ladies have their first debut at the age of 16 or having their first tea party.
"I meet her," I said while looking around to find her but I could not see her around.
"What? When? How?" At the same time, Ian asked incredulously what I said.
"One by one. I met her earlier in the garden and I danced with her before I danced with the Princess," I told him while still looking around in case I see her. I forgot to ask her who is with her but I did not expect to see her here so I just scratched my head.
"Hmm, did she asks you something?" He asks me with a worried and restless expression on his face.
"Nothing in particular," I said while wondering if she asked anything strange when we talked at the garden but nothing.
"Is that so? Just be careful around her," He said that somewhat lessen the concern on his face.
"I'll keep that in mind," I said since when I talk to her she seems kind and easy to talk to. However, I will sure that I can talk to her alone if I have the chance since I already know her appearance. I don't know why her hair color is dark brown
when it is originally black so I think they meant to hide the true color of her hair.
"You can go home first if you want since the dance is over," He said to me as he smiles.
"Later, maybe. I will enjoy it for a bit," I said even if the truth is I will look for Nova.
"Okay, take care. I have something to do. If you want to stay longer look for Her Grace or Sir Ronan," He said as he pats my head before he left me. I think he is investigating with Prince Renz so I also did not see him as well as Ryah who was with him earlier.
"Hmm, I should check in the garden," I said as I put down the juice that I was drinking and go to the garden. I went back to where I saw her for the first time but she was not there so I sat down and looked at the sky. I raised one hand and looked as I catch the moon even though I can't.
"Where could she be?" I murmured while lowering my hand but still looking at the sky.
"Who is the woman you are waiting for?" I turned around to look at who is behind me and none other than Ronan with his poker face.
"It's none of your business, Sir Ronan," I said as I seated properly. Why is he here?
"Are you that dislikeable that you prefer here than being alone inside?" He said to me but I can't see if he was smirking or what since he was behind me. I know that no sensible thing will come out of his mouth if it is not important. I heard footsteps heading to where I was but I did not look back and I felt he was just close to me.
"Stop making fun of me Sir Ronan. I am in the mood to play with you," I said before I turned to him and I immediately stood up in my seat because of the closeness of his face to me when I turned around. I didn't expect him to bend down to level his face from mine.
"Hey! Don't do that?!" I said to him with an uncomfortable expression but he just looked at me as if he doesn't really care.
"What are you? Are you a woman to surprise like that?" He said as he smirks at me as if he is having fun teasing me.
"What?! It's just that I was surprised and I am a man so it is natural to act like that," I said while avoiding his gaze since he was looking at me intently.
"Really?" He said with amusement on his face as he smiles at me so I feel stunned because of his smile since it was genuine as he closed his eyes.
"Why are you smiling like that?" I said to him and turned away because my cheek was heating up because of what I saw. He is so d*mn handsome but his personality s*cks.
"Why? Is it f*******n to smile now?" He said.
"No, but it is unusual for you to smile! It's creepy," I said to him without looking at him and I was just staring at the flowers.
"Well, it's not your business if I am smiling," He said and I heard him approach me again.
"Anyway, where is Lady Miary? I thought she was with you?" I said to change the atmosphere.
"She was with the Crown Princess right now," He said so I walked away before turning to him because I felt he was just behind me.
"Why?" I ask him with a questioning look and a serious tone as I looked at him.
"I don't know but she was called," He said casually as he looked down on me so I looked at him too. We stared at each other for a couple of minutes when someone called him so we turned to the person who called him.
"Yes?" He said and then turned away from me as he approached the woman who called him. I feel like this happened before but the difference is that they are in front of me.
"Sir Alfinus if you don't mind, can you dance with me?" She asks him as she was blushing with a desperate look on her face but I don't know what Ronan's face is making since I only see his back and the beautiful woman in front of him.
"I am sorry. I can't dance with you," He said casually with an uninterested tone of voice so the woman in front of him burst into tears and covered her face before running away.
"*whistled* You are really rude, Sir Ronan. How could you reject her like that? At least, you didn't reject her when someone is around," I said because he didn't even think twice before he decided, especially since I was there looking at them.
"Well, I am thinking that you like to watch closely since you also witness this," He said as he turned to me with no emotion on his face so I looked at him badly.
"For your information, I. ACCIDENTALLY.WITNESS.IT." I said with emphasis on the words I uttered as I looked at him with an irritated look.
"Is that so?" He said with a bored expression.
"Yes. You are a cold-blooded jerk. You should say sorry to her," I said but he just looked at me with an uninterested look.
"Why would I do that?" He said.
"Geez, you really are mean," I said as I left him in the garden because I will not get anything good response from him and I looked for the woman to leave. I feel pity for the woman so I will invite her to dance with me, geez, if I just did not see that event I will not be guilty since I know why she has the courage to asks him to dance because I was there so that he can't refuse but that guy is really cold.
"Found you. I'm sorry for the interruption ladies. May I dance with you?" I ask the woman who invited Ronan to dance with her so she was surprised when I suddenly offered her to dance.
"Are you here to asks me to dance with you because you feel sorry for me?" She said as she looks at me with a bitter look.
"No, it's just that I want to dance with you since I was looking for a partner, and fortunately, I found one, a beautiful lady," I said while smiling at her as I offer my hands to her. She looked at me as she smiled and reached out my hand and stood up.
"Thank you, Milady," I said as I lead her in front, and we start to dance.
"You are the knight of Lady Collins, right?" She asks me while dancing.
"Yes," I told her as I turn her around and I hold her back and hands.
"I didn't know that the rumors about you are different," She said as she was smiling at me.
"Is that so?" I just said.
"I know I might be asking too much but can you be my friend?" She said as she looks down so I touched her chin and lifted it up so I could see her face.
"Of course, it's my pleasure," I said and let go of her face before the end of our dance.
"My name is --"
"Avy! I have been looking for you?!" Miary said to us and looked at me seriously.
"Greetings, Her Grace," The woman greets her.
"Hello, if you don't mind. I'll be taking him now. I'm sorry to interrupt you," she said as she holds my hands.
"No problem, Your Grace," She said while smiling and she just waves her hands when Miary and I left since she is dragging so I just followed her.
"Where are we going?" I ask her since we got out of the venue at the Hunt Ball and we were walking in the hallway and I do not know where we are going.
"Shh, keep quiet," She said as she looks around as if she was checking if someone is watching us so I just kept quiet and we entered a room.
"You take so much time to call him, Miary," Prince Renz said as he looked at us. I just noticed that they are all here.
"Well, he is dancing and chatting with a woman," She said with an annoyed tone as she sits down beside Ronan since Prince was seating on a single chair sofa while Ian was seating with two sitter sofa.
"Is that so? Well, never mind that as long as everyone is here," Prince Renz said so I sat down next to Ian.
"Ian tell us what you found out," He commanded Ian so we looked at him.
