Intruders and Prince Hanz

"How did you know, your Highness?" I ask as if he already knows that is the cause why I run away.

"Well, I figure out, the moment my brother tells me that you ran away without telling me the reason so I ask him if the Crown Princess holds you and he can't look at me."

"Yes, she holds me and I felt that I am in danger," I said, cause I shivered again when I remembered that feeling earlier.

"I am sorry about my brother if he only listens it will not happen," he said while looking like a puppy. He is so cute.

"It's okay. No need to ask for forgiveness. How could I accept that your Highness." I answered.

"But your life at that moment will be gone if you didn't get away from her. I promise I will protect you until you can go back to your human form," he said while he looks like going to cry.

"I will be grateful, your Highness. I also promise I will protect you when you are in danger."

"Then, I'll be in your care when that time comes."

"Of course, Your Highness."

After we talked, we go back to his residence and he let me sleep with him in his bed. I was hesitant when he said that but then I agreed since he said that it is not a problem because the servants think I'm not human and I'm a man so it's okay. And since I can not say I am a woman, I just agreed that, since I am in the form of a rabbit, I have no problem, so I slept next to him.

Meanwhile....

*knocks*

"Yes, come in." 

"Greetings, your Highness the Crown Prince." They said in unison.

"oh, Ian and Ronan. Come in."

"Your Highness, I've come to report you about the assassination of the late empress," Ian said as the Crown Prince looks serious

"I found who started but there are no shreds of evidence, your Highness," Ian answered while the Crown Prince touched his forehead because of the report.

"How about you Ronan? What brings you here? I don't think that you are just here to listen."

"Of course not, Your Highness. Well, you see we can just get information from within." Ronan answered the Crown Prince while smiling.

"Hmm. How?" The Crown Prince curiously asked him.

"We can infiltrate the noble's factions and aristocrats," Ronan suggested, and the Crown Prince didn't talk for minutes as he thinks of it.

"That's definitely a good idea but it is faster to get information within the Lady's circle." The Crown Prince said as Ronan and Ian agrees.

"How about Lady Mia---"

"That won't do Ronan. Lady Miary has no social interactions skill, it will just cause a problem." Renz cut Ronan for suggesting her Grace.

"Then, what will we do?" Ronan asks as he looks to the Crown Prince then to Ian.

"Do you want to die?" Ian told Ronan as if he already knows what he is thinking the way he looks at him

"Woah, I didn't even utter a word," he said as he raises up his hands.

"You better do it on your own," Ian answered Ronan as he glared at him.

"Ha-ha-ha" the Crown Prince laughed as they annoying each other.

"No. I won't do that even though I am the one who suggested the idea." Ronan said to Ian while he was regretting his suggestion.

"How about you, your Highn--" Ronan wanted to say something but the Prince looked at him with a smile but not just a smile but 'I'm the Crown Prince, do you think I will do that?' 

"Yes? what it is Ronan?" His highness asks Ronan while Ian trying to hide his laugh. Ronan glared at Ian.

"Nevermind, your Highness. It's not important but we should look for someone who will do it for us. A female knight will do as she will pretend to be a cousin of Ian and whom we can trust." Ronan answered the Crown Prince. As the prince pondered what Ronan had said.

"I agree with Sir Ronan, your Highness. Why not look for a female knight to enter every banquet that the noble factions and aristocrats gathering. However, Lady Miary is out of choice since she is the daughter of the Duke, they will be really careful and it will not be good if suddenly Her Grace attending invites if it is not that important." Ian commented and Ronan smiled because he will not be going to dress like a Lady.

" But we can't just hire a female knight at this moment and a female knight since I didn't get a female in my command so it will be suspicious if I get one." the Crown Prince said while holding his forehead.

"How about asking Lady Miary to hire a female knight since she often hires once or twice?" Ian suggested and Renz looked at Ian. His face brightens up with the idea.

"Ronan visit Lady Miary personally for that and tell her as soon as possible," Renz commanded Ronan.

"With pleasure, your Highness, then if you'll excuse me," he said as he goes out.

"Your Highness, pardon me but I think it is better not to trust the Marquess too much. I know he is your cousin but--"

"I know, Ian. Thank you but I want to trust him even if I know there is something." He said while smiling bitterly.

"I apologize, your Highness for the rudeness," Ian said as he bows. 

"It's okay, Ian. You can go now." The Crown Prince said and Ian bows before he goes out. He just continued to sign the papers on the table because he had a lot of documents to finish.

I woke up to the noise from outside the window so I woke Hanz softly as I looked at the shadow at the window. I notice that they are two, so I asked him if he knew of any magic attack or defense in case but there was none, so I told him to go out and call for help without making any noise. He nodded in response and came out while I approached the window to see how they look like since it may be a clue who is the mastermind of this.

Somehow, I can use magic that can hold them including that they cannot use magic but it will only last for 5 minutes. So, I must hold them when Hanz will signal me. The intruders silently opening the window while I hide in the curtains.

It's a good thing I made Hanz make the bed with pillows to pretend that he was still sleeping there. They had already entered and they first felt the surroundings before they acted. I thought they will look for Hanz but instead, they roam around and starting to look for something in the drawers and tables. 

I can not determine what are they looking for but then a knock from the door. Before they can go out completely I chant the spell since that was the signal for me from the 2nd Prince. Prince Hanz entered with his knights and he commanded to capture the intruders while they cannot move. 

This event made me remember that the 2nd Prince was demoted from his position and banished from the kingdom a year after the Crown Prince showed up but then he managed to go back into the kingdom after Ryah was exposed as an imposter. The intruders were not looking for something but instead plotting evidence against the kingdom by the aristocrats. 2nd Prince was not favored by the aristocrats and the Crown Prince was not favored by noble factions so the two groups have a conflict with the throne even though not all of the parties were against it but they just do not have a choice since it wins by a majority.

"Your Highness you should be careful. I think they are plotting against you."I told him when the knights left to take the intruders and I noticed that they had the same clothes as the woman I had fought in Lady Miary's room the other day. Since the Dukedom has a good relationship with the Crown Prince but they do not like Duke Collins. 

I am having a hard time remembering things from the story and it becomes unclear though I remember the big events that will be happening in the book, however, a minor event seems out of the story. I just looked at Hanz when he touched me which cause me to jump out of surprise.

"Is there a problem?" he asked me while changing so I turned around in no time.

"Nothing," I told him. I feel like my cheeks are red and it's a good thing he can't see it.

"Let's go to the interrogation room," he said and he also picked me up before we went out and went to the interrogation room. When we got there the Crown Prince was there in front of the detainees. He seems problematic when we saw his expression.

"Greetings, your Highness the Crown Prince, "Hanz said so Renz looked at him and smiled.

"I'm glad that you are unharmed Hanz. I am proud of you for capturing them without them suiciding." he praises his brother but Hanz just smiled a little.

"Not at all, your High- Brother," he said because he could not say that I said what he would do like when checking their mouth if there is a spell that can be activated and use anti-magic handcuffs.

"We have bad news, your Highnesses. The prisoners bite their tongues but--"

"What?! I told you to look for them!" the Crown Prince shouted at the knights who are in charge of the prisoners. He immediately approached the prisoners and their mouths were bleeding.

"Your highness, we managed to save one. He barely bites his tongue."

"Let him be treated but make sure to look for him." He said and he has calmed down a bit now. He obviously had no sleep because of its eyebags but his good looks have not diminished.

"Hanz, is this the first time that someone broke into your room?" he asks Hanz as he walks towards us.

"Well, I don't know Big Brother since this is the first that I caught thanks to my pet." He told to the Crown Prince as he caresses me with his hands.

"Then, I should thank this pet of yours and I am sorry yesterday. I hope you will forgive me." He said, as he also touched me but I bit his hand because I was annoyed with him. If he had not given me to her then my life would not be in danger yesterday because of the Crown Princess. He immediately withdrew his hand from me.

" I think, he is mad to me." He said while smiling but I was still pissed at him. Hanz laughed softly as he walked away from Renz.

"I told you. He is a special pet so you should follow the instruction Big Brother." He said as he brought me down on the sofa and then he gets the first aid kit to tend his Big Brother's injury which was the bites from me. Well, he deserves it. I almost lost my life back there.

Hanz quietly treated Renz's wound while I was watching the two of them and I can say that they both have some similarities except for their hair color. Hans has dark brown hair while Renz has blonde hair but they really look like twins, however, Renz looks more masculine while Hanz is like the cute of Renz that's why I can't help but think of Renz and I'm pissed at him but because Hanz is younger and cute so I lose my annoyance.

"Hanz tells me if you encounter this kind of trouble, okay? I should go now," he said and left the room. Hanz and I looked at each other and at the same time spoke and at the same time did not talk.

He asked me why did I bite his hands and I answered him that I was annoyed with him from yesterday's event. He just laughed that I thought he would scold me but he didn't. I asked him why does he feels awkward with his brother even if his brother makes the way to have a better relationship but then what I get is just a bitter smile on his face. I did not force to ask any more questions because I knew there was a reason why.
