Secret (Part 2)

"That means he likes you and the maids are being jealous because of you since Sir Dravis never treated a maid like what he did to you."

"Why are they being jealous? He just gave me food that is normal if you saw someone who eats a lot and even I will give some too if I were him." and she sighs even more of what I've said.

"Fine. Fine. Nevermind what I told you. 'poor Sir Dravis'" she said and she whispered something but I ignored it. "I'm done," I said while resting a little.

"Sofie if I went back to be a rabbit any moment you can look for me at -----" I whispered.

"Okay. I understand."

After we had our breakfast we head to the crown Princess study room and Sofie went inside while I and Dravis were outside along with the knights of the Crown Princess. Time goes by fast and it was already afternoon. But suddenly I felt hurt in my arm and I felt like I was going back to being a rabbit and it was not night yet, so why? I quickly left without saying goodbye and fortunately, Dravis did not ask me when I left. I immediately went back to our room and felt the pain coming from my arm.

"Ugh!" After a minute I turned into a rabbit and I immediately hide my clothes under my bed. Although I had a hard time pushing and pulling, I manage to hide it.

~Meanwhile

Lady Miary and Sofie got out from the Crown Princess study room and ready to go back but when they got out they noticed that Avy/Yva was not there.

"Sir Dravis where is Yva?"

"I don't know Her Grace. She was gone for about 3 hours now since she left."

"Is that so? then let's go." Then they proceed to her room. They let Dravis wait outside before Sofie told her about Avy's situation.

"What?! Where is she alright?!" 

"He's in our room but he told me that we can see him after you sent off sir Dravis"

"Okay. How can we take him back to normal?" 

"But before that, I should check our room first my Lady."

"Okay, you can go" Then she checked their room and she saw the clothes of Avy under her bed so she was relieved that is what happens. She tried to call her but no one answering so she just builds a human form in her bed to look that she was sleeping before she left.

"Where is Yva?" Dravis asks Sofie when she's about to go inside the room.

"She's not feeling well so she stayed at our room" and Dravis just nodded.

So after I hide my clothes, I should look around the palace since I can hide immediately from this form. I should take this advantage, maybe I can find something worth it. I jumped at the window since it's not that high and there is a tree that I can use to go down. When I got down from the tree I look around first if there is someone out there before I ran to the garden. And since I have been there once so I will look there first because I have to look around from the outside first. And since I'm here, I'll relax first, after all, the weather is nice and it's nice to hang out outside like this. I went to the tree near the well when we met the Marquess last time since it's so relaxing and I drove to sleep.

"Is that a rabbit?"

"Yes, Your Highness."

"How can a rabbit enter the garden?"

"Maybe, someone owns it, Your Highness."

"Is that so? Who is your irresponsible owner little rabbit?" I could hear them talking and I felt someone lift me up.

"Let me carry it, your Highness."

"No. He is so cute if there is no owner, I will adopt it." So I opened my eyes and I saw a young man who is around my age, I think. He was carrying me while he gently petting me and it's so nic---what?! no-no-no but it's really comforting how he was petting me. I think it's the effect of the magic cast on me. 

"Should I inform them who lost a rabbit, your Highness?" I heard his companion said and I think it is his attendant and I am not mistaken to hear that he called him his highness which means he is the 2nd Prince and the half brother of the Crown Prince who doesn't want the throne but his mother the 2nd Empress does. 

"No, leave it not until they will look for it and I will be the one to give it back to the irresponsible owner of this little cute rabbit." He said while still petting me in his arms.

"I understood, your highness." I was observing this little prince and he is so adorable and cute. I want to be his big sister and protect him. I want to hug him since he is so cute like the one I saw in the games that I played that I want to keep it. I did not think I would know anything here since the 2nd Prince was not mentioned much but -------- I suddenly had a headache so the second Prince suddenly surprised and I was still holding on to my sudden movements.

"Hey, what happened little ones? Are you okay?!" He asked me.

"Y-your Highness, calm down the rabbit will not answer you. Maybe, he wants to go down or maybe he was injured?"

"Let me check it."

"I can do it, your Highness."

"No. I want to look at it myself." Then he checks my body then he stared at my arms where the cut has it. 

"He has a cut in his arms. Bring me the imperial doctor!" I was surprised when he said I had a wound and Sofie didn't say anything to me when she saw me in my rabbit form.

"He is not a human, your Highness."

"Call him or el--"

"Yes, yes, your Highness." And immediately left to call the doctor. I wanted to speak but this cute prince might be scared and suddenly run away. After a few minutes, his attendant and the imperial doctor returned.

"Can you heal his wounds?"

"He doesn't have a wound, your highness." The doctor said and looked at me in confusion as did his attendant.

"He has a wound, don't you see it?" the 2nd prince told the imperial doctor but then the doctor refuses that I don't have a wound.

"Fine, nevermind. You can go" he said to the imperial doctor as he walks through the garden and seated on the well.

"Your Highness you should not sit there." But this cute prince ignored his companion while busy holding me.

"Can you leave for a minute?"

"Call me if there's something you need, Your Highness" then his attendant left.

"You can speak now," He said so I was surprised and he looked at me.

"How did you know?"

"The moment when the imperial doctor doesn't see your wound."

"What's your name?"

"..."

"Don't be afraid, I will not tell to anybody since you didn't reveal yourself."

"Forgive me, your Highness, I can't tell my name."

"It's okay, even though you might already know my name. I am Hanz." He said while smiling at me but his smile is not pure, it has sadness in his smile.

" Don't worry, your Highness. I will introduce myself when I am in my original form."

" I will wait for that day little rabbit." He said while smiling at me this time, quite true.

"I will forgive you for calling me a little rabbit, my cute little prince."

"I also forgive you this time for calling me a cute little prince."

"Then, we're even your Highness."

"You can call me Hanz, I don't want to be known as the 2nd prince or the son of the emperor."

"Why?" I asked but instead of answering me. He just looks at the sky and sighed.

"It's okay your Highness if you don't want to tell me. Forgive me"

"It's okay. I will tell you if we meet personally."

"Sure, your Highness."

"But why are you in this state?"

"I can't tell you, Your Highness."

"Then, I will heal you but you have to keep me a secret."

"You can heal me?!" 

"Yep. Since I can tell it's not just common magic cast on you."

"Your Highness, are you a ------------"

"Yes, that's why you need to keep it since none of my family members knows my magic."

"I will surely keep it myself, Your Highness, until my grave." I will surely keep you safe my little Prince. Then, he casts magic on me and my arm wound disappeared but I was still a rabbit.

"I'm done healing you but then the side effects of the magic will be gone for one more day. I am sorry if I was not able to fix you right away since you will remain a rabbit until the day after tomorrow."

"It's okay, your Highness. I am much more thankful that you were able to negate the magic on me."

"Still, I am sorry." Aww, this little prince is so kind and I want to keep him.

"I will not forget this day, your Highness and I swear to be your side."

"Thank you little rabbit."

"Your Highness, please stop calling me that."

"Hahaha Okay, okay."

"I want to ask, are you a maid here or what?"

"You will know soon, your Highness." Yes, you will also know about it in the hunting next week since he will also participate.

"Okay, I will wait but don't you think someone is looking for you?"

"Ah that, she will look for me until midnight since she knows my state."

"Then, why don't you stay at my place for the meantime."

"Sure. It's my pleasure to accompany you, Your Highness. However, I think we should go now because someone is watching us. Call your attendant normally." I whispered to him and he just nodded. As he called his attendant to prepare some snacks while walking inside the palace. They are not the only ones is being watched, Her Grace, and Crown Prince.

"How did you know someone is watching us?" he whispered

"That. I just saw someone's shadow." I hope he believes.

"Is that so? I think you are not just an ordinary citizen." I did not answer because his attendant might notice our whispering. We were going to his room and the snacks he had prepared were in order.

"Where is the 2nd Prince Hanz?" Hanz and I heard that Renz asks the attendants of Hanz when he came out of a room as we are about to arrive in his room.

"Greetings your Highness the Crown Prince." Hanz greeted.

"Where have you been Hanz?" Woah, Renz is kind to his brother, that's new to me.

"I just went to the garden, your Highness." He said. And I can say he was a little shy from his brother.

"I said that you can call me Big brother." 

"I don't dare, Crown Prince."

"Why??" He said while acting like he was hurt. I rolled my eyes out of nowhere with this Renz. I looked at Hanz's reaction and he frowned at his brother and averted his eyes.

"Cro- Big brother would you stop. Why are you looking at me?"

"Oh, yes. I would like you to come with me next week to the hunting event."

"I refuse. Your hi--Big brother."

"Why? Don't you miss me? I was gone for the past years. Let's have a brotherhood bonding."

"Okay, Fine just stop what you are doing." He said because of the look of Renz who is being cute in front of his brother. I didn't know that Renz has this kind of side that he really wants to have a good relationship with his brother, however, his brother was hesitating since his mother wants him to be the next emperor.

"That's a promise, Hanz." He said seriously and pet his head then he looks at me.

" wow~ It is so cute. I didn't know you have a pet"

"Er-- actually it's---" Hanz stops what he is saying when Renz gets me from his hands.

"How can this rabbit so cute and his fur is so soft," He said completely ignore his brother while I want to bite his hands.

"Big brother be gentle, it has a wound."

"Oh. I'm sorry little fella." He said to me and he holds me gently unlike awhile ago he was being rough.

"Give it to me Big brother. I'm going to feed it." He said while getting me from Renz. I feel much better than Renz.

"Then, can I go with you since I still have time before dinner with the Crown Princess and Lady Miary."

"Fine then let's go." 

"Can I hold it?"

"Sofie I am going to -----"
