"Oh. I'm sorry little fella." He said to me and he holds me gently unlike awhile ago he was being rough.
"Give it to me Big brother. I'm going to feed it." He said while getting me from Renz. I feel much better with Hanz than Renz.
"Then, can I go with you since I still have time before dinner with the Crown Princess and Lady Miary."
"Fine then let's go." and we ended up with the Crown Prince in the room of Prince Hanz since he looks like a puppy.
Prince Hanz and Crown Prince Renz ended up arguing who will be going to feed me and they are like children. I was getting hungry and they are not done with arguing so I went up to the table and eat what's in there since they are busy.
With the amount in front of me I do not know what I will prioritize because everything is delicious but what caught my attention was the one at the end of the table. I approached quickly and I was not mistaken, chocolate bar like I took at the festival. * chocolate bar *
I was busy eating when Hanz picks me up and he places me in his lap. I think their argument is done.
"Does a rabbit should be eating chocolate?" The Crown Prince asks Hanz
"Yes, since he is special your Highn--Big Brother" He answered.
"Is that so? then he must possess something. I think I should keep him." I suddenly dropped what I was eating from what he said so I looked at Hanz and shook my head.
"Woah, does he understand human language?! as if he was saying to you that to decline," His Highness said. I did not know that he was observing me.
"Yes, he understands that's why I've said that he is special and I will not be giving him to you your Highn-- Big Brother~" He answered as I was watching them and Renz face becomes annoyed every time Hanz calling him His Highness.
"aw. That's unfortunate but can I borrow him later and I'll make sure to give him back."
"No, Big brother. I humbly refuse since he is not willing to go with you." Hanz answered since I shake my head that I don't want to. Especially since I feel like he will take me to their dinner later with Crown Princess and Lady Miary.
"Then, you should come along and bring him."
"Thank you for the invitation Big brother but I humbly refuse and I don't really like her highness let alone facing her."
"I know you've been telling me that since she came here but why do you say so? hm," Renz asks Hanz but then he didn't answer his brother's question.
"It's okay, you don't have to tell me if you can't. I really don't like her too but I just want to show Miary the rabbit since she likes it." He said while smiling, it is the first time that I saw him smile genuinely.
"Okay, you can have him but make sure you will gonna bring him back. Don't think that I lend it to you but I like Lady Miary to be your crown princess, not her." He replied. I agree with what he said but I was shocked when he suddenly agreed to take me with him so I immediately looked at Hanz.
"Of course. I will bring him back safe and sound." the Crown Prince said while smiling.
"And one more thing, don't let her Highness hold him." He said to his Brother.
"Okay, okay. I promise." I didn't expect it that he is a doting brother to his little brother even though they are being pressured with the throne.
"Then, you should go Big Brother it is already time for you to have dinner. I'll just rest for a bit," he said to his brother as he handed me over before he went to his bed and I think it was because of the spell he used on me.
"Have a nice rest Hanz, you look tired," he said before we left Hanz's room. He is holding me now to Ryah the Crown Princess' room. As we approached there I was nervous, knowing her she even gets jealous of a mere knight like me so I think as well as the animals approaching the Crown Prince, in short, she's obsessed with him. I find it so scary since she will do anything to have what she wants.
"Greetings, your Highness" The maids and knights greeted us before we entered and Sofie looked at me in shock, wondering why the Prince was holding me, so I immediately motioned for her to zip her mouth. She immediately nodded and fortunately Renz did not notice because he only looked straight when we entered.
"Her Highness the Crown Prince is here."
"Greetings to his Highness the Crown Prince," they said in unison as Lady Miary and the Crown Princess Ryah stood and bowed slightly.
"I'm sorry to keep you waiting."
"It's okay, your Highness" Ryah answered while Lady Miary was looking at me with her eyes is like a star somehow I felt getting a shiver.
"Is that your pet?" Ryah asks him
"No. He is Hanz's pet, I just borrow it since Lady Miary likes rabbit. I hope you don't mind I bring him."
"Of course. I don't mind my Prince since he looks cute." with her smile, I suddenly felt nervous because it was obviously forced and I think she is not fond of animals. I felt the same with Lady Miary but she is more dangerous as she was petting me.
"Can I hold it, your Highness?" Lady Miary asks the Crown Prince, he gave me to her. She held onto her arms like a jewel.
"Your Highness, we should eat first." the Crown Princess told the Crown Prince so they went to the table while Lady Miary is still busy petting me.
"Sure. Hey, Miary let your maid hold that rabbit," he said that's why Lady Miary didn't have a choice but to hand me over to Sofie.
"Yes, Your Highness." and they started eating while Sofie was holding me so I whispered.
"Sofie I am going to stay with the 2nd Prince Hanz for today. Tell her Grace that I have something to do, okay?"
"Okay, but why the 2nd Prince, not the Crown Prince since he brought you here?"
"No. Just do what I told you, Sofie. I'll tell you later on why as for now don't tell her Grace that I am going to stay in the 2nd Prince residence for a while."
"Okay," She answered so we kept quiet because Ryah had been looking at us for a while. She is clearly observing us but pretending to be busy with her dinner.
So for the entire time, they are eating and we are like Sofie's fool because we can't talk because later someone will look at us and I won't be comfortable then since we might get caught anytime if we speak to each other carelessly.
After dinner, Crown Prince Renz held me in his arms while Lady Miary's facial expression was jealous while the Crown Princess's glared at me, I felt a dagger even though she only looking at me. I am impressed by her obsessiveness with the Crown Prince.
"Can I hold him, your Highness?" Ryah asks the Crown Prince. And I was nervous because for sure this prince will allow me to be held by her Highness.
"Sure, but don't do anything. Hanz told me not to let you hold it but for just a bit will not hurt, right?" Did I really say, I did not make a mistake and he handed me over to Ryah. Even Sofie was worried as she is looking at me.
"Of course, Your Highness. I won't do anything." she smiles but I feel her smile is not genuine and she was holding me I feel threatened by it. I can feel something strange from her aura, and it is not a common aura but a black aura. It's been long a time when I encountered something like this with my teacher. He advises me to go away immediately since it is dangerous for me, my life, so I suddenly moved by force to be free with her arms. In shock she released me and I immediately ran out the window because the door was closed.
Everyone was surprised at my sudden escape, they tried to call and stop me but I didn't budge to look back because the aura grows stronger as if it was ready to eat me if I stay there for a long time. When I came out I ran to the garden, specifically to the well. I was trembling, the moment I stopped because of the fear that I just felt now, unlike before that I was not facing this strong. That moment, I felt fear for my life and asking for help.
"Huh? a rabbit?"
"Definitely, a rabbit."
"It seems like a statue. It didn't move after facing the well."
"Wait, I'll get it."
"What if that is a monster?"
"Then, that's even better to try my new attack."
"You're cruel."
"But you are the one who said what if it is a monster."
"It was just a hunch but then I think it's not."
"Then, I will take it now since it's rare that a rabbit to be lost in here specifically in this place."
"Still, be careful or else."
"or else, what?"
"Nothing."
I was surprised that someone took me, I did not realize that there was someone else because of my shivering before, it's a good thing I calmed down a bit but I still have fears.
I suddenly jumped when I saw who had taken me. I can't believe that it was Ian and at his back is Ronan. What are they doing here and just the two of them?! Omo don't tell me they have this kind of relationship?! No-no-no.
"You scared the rabbit, Ian"
"I didn't even do anything," Ian answered Ronan in a friendly way. I didn't think they are closed since they didn't seem to talk to each other.
"By the way, did you have any useful information?" He said to Ian while trying to tame me. I didn't know what they are talking about but I can tell that it is very important since Ian looks serious. I don't really like Ronan so I dodge his hands trying to pet me.
"Yes, I have but we should discuss this with his Highness."
"Yeah, right. You are still his Highness's trustworthy knight since that day." He answered Ian while still petting but I dodge his hands.
"Well, that is --- what the hell are you doing to the rabbit?!" he said to Ronan because Ronan was already holding me by the ear that you thought I was dead and he looked at Ian.
"It's his fault dodging me when I was being kind so I punishing him a little." He said while looking innocent. I want to punch him in the face because my ears really hurt when he holds me like that.
"Hey, put it down. You are the one who is cruel," he said so I was lowered and I immediately walked away from Ronan and approached Ian.
"I am not. So, what are you trying to say again?" he said while trying to tame me but this time Ian holds me in his arms.
"Well, I'll tell you later."
"That rabbit is unfair. You didn't do anything, right?"
"Of course, I didn't. Who do you I am?"
"Yeah, right. Anyways, let's ask if someone owns it," he said and surrendered to me. I really hate him even though I found out something new about him, I still don't like his behavior.
"Yes, and I think they are already finished with their dinner---"
"Did you see a rabbit?!!!" It Hanz's voice so they both turned around and Ian did not continue what he was saying.
"Greeting, 2nd Prince." bati nilang dalawa.
"I am glad that, you found my rabbit," Hanz's said to them as he gets me from Ian.
"We just happen to see it, you Highness."
"Yes, Your Highness." Ronan seconded Ian.
"Still, thank you so much." He said as he holds me tightly.
"It's our pleasure, your Highness, and please excuse us," They said as they bow a little before they go.
When they got away and Hanz makes his companion away from us before he talked to me.
"She holds you, right?"
"How did you know, your Highness?" I ask as if he already knows that is the cause why I run away.
"Well, I figure out, the moment my brother tells me that you ran away without telling me the reason so I ask him if the Crown Princess holds you and he can't look at me."
"Yes, she holds me and I felt that I am in danger," I said
