The Hunting Event Part 2

After an hour Kerz and Dravis were here with our belongings and our camp building materials. I was shocked because we had a few hours before we got here and then they just do it for an hour so you can see the admiration on my face.

"If you are asking how did they got here immediately is they use a magic spell to teleport and the stone that I throw a while ago is the signal and tracking location for the teleportation," Renz said to me so I nodded.

"Greetings, your Highness." They said in unison and Kerz greeted me while I said hello to Dravis, and he just hi and they begin to set-up the camp.

I insist to help but Kerz refuses and told me to rest since I am tired of accompanying Prince Renz who is now lying down when he was just sitting there a while ago. I let them go because they did not want to allow me to help so I just sat in my seat earlier. They build two camps and they called Prince Renz to rest there so he stood up and walked over to a camp as Kerz opened the entrance. On the other hand, Dravis has a basin on his arms with towels and I guess he will go to clean up himself. Fortunately, Kerz and Dravis are here to help him so I got up to go to the river near here since I was also covered with animal blood and I smell like sh*t. However, he called me to help him before he goes inside when I was about to leave so I was surprised as well as Kerz and Dravis that they looked at me 

"~~Pardo~n, Your Highness~~," I said because maybe I heard him wrong.

"Come here, Avy and help me.*smiled*," he said to me when he turned around so I was stunned because I was the one he called.

"Y~es, Your Highness," I said as I walk toward his camp and Dravis handed me the basin with towels while Kerz was still surprised because of what was happening so Dravis tapped him and he just moved there.

I even heard Kerz comment that 'What the heck is happening? Is that really Prince Renz who doesn't want to be helped by just anyone but those he trusted?' and then Dravis answered him that 'Maybe. I'm not really sure since he was fond of Avy ever since Lady Miary told his Highness about her knight.', 'but Prince Renz never do that to me even though he was fond of me when I was still not in his squad?' Kerz said to Dravis acting like a child being jealous. 'Maybe he does not really fond of you back then so he never did that to you and before you can help him you waited for almost a year for you to be allowed to help him.' Dravis told Kerz, and Kerz told Dravis 'Are you even my friend?'. And I can no longer hear their conversation because they have moved away and I have finally entered the camp.

I saw Prince Renz laying on his bed while his face covered by his arm and I can see his bare chest that's why I looked away. I called him to be cleaned while standing near him and he did not answer so I approached to wake him up. When I was about to wake him up he suddenly grabbed my hands and he looked at me seriously straight in the eyes. I could not move immediately because of the closeness of our faces and no one spoke for a few minutes. He just let me go when I told him to clean up first and ate before going to bed so he moved away from me while suppressing my nervousness when I stood up. I almost spilled the water in the basin when I put it on the table while Prince Renz removing his polo. 

I still cannot look at him because of his good physique even though I see Gin and the other knights once on the training grounds that are topless, but this Prince's body is much better. I handed him the towel soaked with water and he receives it as he wiping his face, arms, and his body. He let me wipe his back since he can't wipe it so I don't have any choice but to wipe his back. As I wiped his back, he said that my hands were small like a woman's hand so I said I really look like this and it is not new that I am told like a woman.

"Is that so? I know you are still young and do not come to age but I think you should have grown taller than the average height of a noble lady," he said so I said growing up slowly even though I was a little annoyed there. And he said that my height was his height when he was only 12 years old so he was wondering since I was the first knight he saw that was small. What I have in mind is 'don't be compare me with you because you are a man and I am a woman so it is impossible what you want to happen' while smiling at him because I am facing him now and holding his replacement clothes. 

After he changed and he lay down and I was told to just call him when the food was ready as I went out and held what he used to wash. I saw Kerz and Dravis busy cooking so I approached them and I relay what Prince Renz said and I said I am going to clean my self and to wash what Renz used so Kerz told me to be careful since it is almost midnight and Dravis told me to come back immediately since they are about to finish cooking the food. I was surprised when Dravis told me that since I always the first one to initiate to talk to him but now he talked to me first, so I am not used to that he is like that since all I know is he doesn't care about me. I just waved my hands up since I didn't look back to respond.

I was already in the river and I immediately clean my face before I washed the towels. I want to take a bath since I feel so sticky with those animals' blood on me and I think the bandages were stained with the animal blood that I was wearing so I was uncomfortable. However, it will be difficult to remove my bandages since someone might see me here even though I do not see or hear anything because it is quiet and you can only hear the sound of the flow of water. I loosen up my shirt so I can undo my bandages even without removing the shirt since I can not take this sticky feeling in my skin and the smell of the blood. I immediately wash the bandages and squeezed them so that I can wear them again and I will change later. I wipe my body with the towels while saying sorry for the towels because I wipe them with my non-royal blood body since the Prince used this so maybe they are expensive too. After I used it, I quickly washed it again because one of them might suddenly come to call me and maybe punish me for using these Prince towels without permission.

I immediately wear the wet bandages and fixed up my clothes since it was loosened because I can't go back like this. I accelerated my movement since I feel like being watched from the dark even if you have nothing to see and I feel so creepy. I saw Kerz and Dravis who had finished cooking and the food was ready so I asked if they had called Prince Renz and they said yes and were surprised that I was not with him. I ask them why would I be with him so they answered me that he is going you pee when Kerz is about to call me since he said he will call you after he takes care of his business on his way back.

"What?" I said to them in shock because I did not meet him when I returned. Don't tell me he saw me by the river? Although, I am not sure if he notices me that I am not a man or will he punish me for using his towels? 

"Dravis look for his Highness," Kerz said to Dravis. Then, Dravis answered him 'don't command me as if you're my superior' then he stood up and walked where I was before.

"You really didn't see his Highness on your way back here?" He asks me again as he throws small branches in the fire while I put down the basin with towels on the floor. 

"Yes, I didn't see anyone. Just call me if his Highness is here, I'll just change my clothes." I told him and he looked at me while looking at my appearance.

"Okay, go get change since your clothes might ruin my appetite." He said as if disgusted because my clothes were almost stained with blood so I left and entered a camp beside Renz's camp. I look for my things but I cannot find them so I ask Kerz where they put my stuff while I'm about to go out and I saw Dravis and Prince Renz who just arrived.

"If you're looking for your things it was inside of my camp. You didn't see it?" Prince Renz told me as he looked at me before he sat down. 

"I didn't. You can eat first, you don't need to wait for me." I said as I went to the camp and searched for my bag and I quickly change my clothes there. I left with my belongings and went to the other camp.

I saw them eating and I serve myself as I sat down behind them since I am a commoner though I do not degrade myself, of course, they are nobles and the commoners do not really socialize with them. I was just eating quietly when it suddenly got dark and I looked in front of me and it was Prince Renz who block me from the light. He asks me why I am at the back when I can eat with them since we are not in the palace or in a banquet. I humbly refuse it not because I do not like it but I feel awkward. On the other hand, Kerz calls me that it's okay and I looked at Dravis, and he just nodded in response that it's okay for me to eat with them. 

"Thank you." I just said it and smiled so they were surprised by me since it was the first time that someone invited me to eat with them aside from Lady Miary who is a noble. It was a lie that it was my first to be in the hunting since I participated in my first year with Lady Miary but I quit halfway through the event because of the nobles with her. I can't take the insults from them even though I always say I am okay to Lady Miary because I don't want her to worry and of course, I am not a rock to feel not being hurt and I get tired also because of insults just because I am a commoner as if I am a bug/trash/insect that should be get rid in noble circles. If you're asking what reason I've given to Lady Miary when I quit is that I'm bored and fortunately she believes it since she also said herself that it was not good training for her but she can't quit the hunting back then.

"Why are you saying thank you? We are just inviting you." Prince Renz told me while looking at me as if he was trying to read what was on my mind.

"Yeah, it's not that we did something good when it's just eating." Kerz seconded Prince Renz while Dravis seated beside me since I have no intention of standing on my seat. I was shocked when they faced me while eating. Even though I feel a little bit awkward to be eating with them since they are nobles and a royal prince in front of me. 

"It's just I am thankful for inviting me," I said while smiling at them before I continue eating.

"Did you never eat with Lady Miary?" Prince Renz asks me as he puts down his plate.
