The Hunting Event Part 3

"It's just I am thankful for inviting me," I said while smiling at them before I resumed eating.

"Did you never eat with Lady Miary?" Prince Renz asks me as he puts down his plate.

"I am eating with them," I said embarrassed because they were looking at me since I did not answer immediately. I feel like they are interrogating me right now.

"Hmm." Prince Renz replied while Kerz and Dravis just looked at each other as if they are talking through telepathy as they both nodding so I was wondering what was that.

We just ate quietly after our conversation and I volunteered to take care of what we used even though Kerz told me not to but I insist since they already cooked the dinner a while ago so I said that I'll do it. He had no choice because I insisted that I'd wash the dishes that we used and let them rest. Prince Renz entered his camp after we ate while Dravis went to the other side where I put my things and Kerz is fixing what they used in cooking our food earlier and I said he would just follow me to the river. I went to the river first and started washing dishes. I suddenly got cold because the water got colder and I have not doubled my clothes yet so I can feel the cold along with the cold breeze so I really feel chilly but I can't go back to wear my vest since it will take time and it will be a hassle to go back here again

So I just speeded up the washing so that I would not get soaked in the cold water and as soon as I was done with the plates Kerz came with the dishes they had used earlier. Kerz put the dishes next to me and even asked me if I needed help but I said no because it was only a little so I just give him the washed plate first. He just said okay and I suddenly sneeze because of the cold breeze and cold water when he is about to go back so he said if I'm okay and I said yes while wiping my nose. I was surprised when he sat down beside me, and he washes the things he brought a while ago but I grab them as I told him that I can do it. However, he didn't let go so we seemed to be playing a tug of war as I looked at him seriously and he also seems to be the same, you can see electricity in our eyes.

"It's okay, Sir Kerz. I am okay." I said while smiling at him but I am annoyed because he doesn't want to let go. 

"Let me help you to finish faster since it's really getting cold here." He said to me and he also smiles at me. 

"No, thanks Sir Kerz. I can manage, so go back and have a rest." I said while still trying to snatch what they used earlier.

"You should the one who needs to retire for the night since you will be real exhausted for tomorrow because it will be tougher than today." He said at the same time remove my hands from the pot so I backed away and fell to the ground. It's a good thing I didn't fall into the water if I did the I'll get wet again.

"See. You really need to go and rest for tomorrow." He said while washing the dishes.

"You meant that on purpose?!" I told him after I stood up because I had fallen.

"Nope. Why would I do that?" he said to me while still finishing the dishes.

"Really?" I said while looking at him intently.

"Yes, so let's go since I'm done washing the dishes." He said as he handed me what I've washed a while ago.

"You're fast hm," I commented as I turned around and walked away.

"Of course. You're just slow," he said so I glared at him, and he just laughs at me. 

"Tsk." I reacted and started walking again and I walk faster because he was annoying.

I saw Dravis near the bonfire as he throws small branches in the fire and he looks in my way. He stood up and walks towards meso I don't know what to do because of his sudden approach so I suddenly backed away.

"Let me finish it and go rest." He said as he held out his hands so I handed over the plates I was holding. I tilted my head as I look at him because their movements seem to have been different before and it's really suspicious.

"... Okay. Thank you," I said as I handed the plates to him. I looked at him suspiciously and he was surprised because I look at him. He looks embarrassed so he turned around and arranged the washed things.

I turned around and was surprised at Kerz because I did not feel his presence so I backed away. Unfortunately, I step on a stone and I was out of balance and I could not move because it was crowded and I will k****e the fire but then I was waiting for me to land on the ground but Dravis caught me. Our eyes meet when I open my eyes so I immediately walked away from him because our position was awkward especially since we were both men even though he was the only one. I said thank you and quickly entered the camp out of embarrassment, I left them there who both did not react immediately because of what happened earlier. When I entered the camp I hold on to my cheeks and it was very hot and I think I look like a tomato because of the redness of my face.

They did not move immediately because of what happened earlier, they just back to their senses when Avy said thank you as she goes into the camp. While Dravis mesmerizing the moment as he looks at his hands that held Avy because he felt different and she's petite being a knight. He started to think something else and he realizes something in Avy but he is not sure yet so he will observe for now. As for Kerz, who witness the romantic-err moment of Avy and Dravis, wants to unsee what he saw since it was not really good to witness but at the same time he wants to tease Dravis but somehow he doesn't want too. They both looked at each other and at the same time averted their eyes. Dravis continues to arrange the things while Kerz handed the remaining while they cannot look at each other.

"That was ---"

"Stop. Don't say anything." Dravis told Kerz when he was about to talk about a while ago.

"I didn't even finish what I'm saying and you already stop me," Kerz said as he seats down in front of the fire.

"Well, it's so obvious what will you talk about so don't talk about it." He said as he glared at Kerz. Kerz just acted to close his mouth as he puts up his arms in the air.

"You should get some rest Kerz and I will stand as a guard," Dravis told Kerz. Kerz gets it that it would be awkward to share a night with Avy because of what happened earlier so he just said 'okay' as he stood up and went to the camp.

I looked at the entrance of the camp because someone came in and I saw Kerz. I don’t know if I will be grateful that it is not Dravis because it was awkward when he was the one who entered. And because I have a roommate here now and most of all, not Sofie that's why I'm not comfortable. Kerz told me that I should get some rest since I just look at him while he prepares his bed. I just nodded and I lay down on my bed but I can't sleep since I am with someone else so I just close my eyes since Kerz is facing me and can be seen from there because he was sitting while his feet are together.

I did not realize it was morning and I didn't get enough sleep since I will wake up immediately even to a faint noise or sound. I can tell that my eyes have black circles even without looking at a mirror and of course, I can't have one since I am not a woman to have one in hand. I get up then I look at Kerz but he was gone so I went outside. I saw Dravis as he looks at me and both of us diverted our eyes since it's awkward so I walked to the river to wash. I was still yawning as I walked and I almost fell down due to lack of sleep, fortunately, there was a nearby tree that helped me. 

I immediately wash my face to refreshen up myself and to get rid of my sleepiness. I feel the cold water because it feels good and I feel like I want to take a bath but I can't.

"You look like a panda. Did you not sleep well?"I turned to my left and it was Prince Renz who leaning against a tree while looking at me.

"Good morning, Your Highness. Did you sleep well, too?" I said since he has also lightly visible dark circles as I continue to wash my face to lessen the dark circles in my face.

"I ask you first." He said as he walks towards me while he is watching me because earlier I was washing my face.

"Not really, your Highness. How about you?" I ask him before I dipped my face.

"Not really. Why do you keep cleansing your face when you have already done?" He said curiously.

"Well, the cold water helps to lessen the dark circles in my face so if you don't want to look like a panda then you should follow after me," I said before I again dipped my face in the water for a few minutes before I lifted my face from the water. I noticed that Renz was by my side as he removed his vest and folded his polo shirt to keep it from getting wet. 

"Your Highness, you can do it in your camp," I said because I did not expect him to imitate me right here.

"Why?" he said as he was looking at me innocently since he looks like a cat. 

"Well, err-" I said as I look away from him.

"Do I have to do it in my camp? Then, it will not be this cold if it was in the basin." He said. He does have a point there because the eyebags remover will no longer be effective.

"But at least use some towels," I said.

"You didn't use towels too, so why would I?" he said like a kid that's why I put my hands on my forehead because of his reason, did he not notice that he should not be with me especially since I am not noble.

"I don't need it," I answered him.

"Then, I don't need it, too." He said as he started to imitate what I did earlier.

"Your Highness you should use towels. Wait for me, I'll get you towels." I said but then he grabs my hands when I'm about to stand up.

"You don't have to. Let's just finish lessen our dark circles." He said as he pulls me down beside him that's why I sat down.

"I'm done, your Highness, so take your time," I said as I stood up and he grabbed me again.

"Do you really want to leave me here?" He said so I get what he means since he is a Prince, he should have at least one knight beside him in any case of sudden assassination so I just sat down next to him again.

"Fine," I said as I rolled my eyes since he was busy imitating what I did earlier.

After an hour, we go back to our camp to get change and our dark circles are not visible anymore since he insists me to join him so I don't have any choice because he said he will kick me to the water if I will not join him. Because I do not want to be discovered because the bandages will be visible if I get wet from the water so I accompanied him until our eyebags were no longer obvious.

"What were you doing so long in the river, your Highness? I have been looking for you." Kerz asks the Prince as was preparing the breakfast.

"Well, we get rid of our dark circles." He casually said as he walks towards his camp while grabbing me with him.
