The Hunting Event

I woke up and look at the time since I didn't know that I sleep after I lay down and it was 4 am in the morning. So, I got up already since I can no longer sleep because I have also slept for a long time since yesterday that's why I'm in a good mood right now. It seems that my body is conditioned for the hunting that will take place later.

Since things are already pack-up so I can do nothing. I just walked around to kill time and I stop by the training ground where I can see the sun rises. I could feel the cold breeze as I closed my eyes as if I were somewhere else because besides being quiet it feels light. I was distracted by someone who touched me and Gin who was about to start training. He asks me if I would like to join him but I refuse since after the hunting I will be exhausted that's why I didn't exercise much before.

We have arrived here at the Hunting Event Venue not too far from the Kingdom. We also traveled here for almost four hours so I helped Gin to set up their camp since we will also be going to stay here for three days. The Hunting event will last for 3 nights and 4 days and the last day will be the Awarding Ceremony which will be awarded to have the privilege to work in the imperial palace as a knight or officials for the 2nd and 3rd place. As for 1st place will be awarded to have the privilege to chose where he will be going to serve and the champion will be awarded to have the privilege to asks a wish or favor to the Emperor. 

And of course, the young noble ladies will not be lost to join the hunting event since the champion of the hunting will offer his 'harvest' of his chosen lady and that Lady will be given the title of 'Charismatic and Beauty Alluring' and have the chance to be chosen as the Crown Princess as well or she can work for the Crown Princess that will be the future Empress of the kingdom.

Note: 'Harvest' is what they call for the animals that they caught

So, many attended because of this and of course even I will join if ever since the 'harvest' will be a huge amount of money when you sell them since the animals have also had magic stones so that's one reason aside from having the privilege of being a crown princess. And of course, it is quite difficult to hunt animals since they are not normal animals because they have magic stones so they are not easy to catch unless you are strong enough to have them killed in one shot/s***h. 

And of course, the giving of lucky charm will not be forgotten such as laces/handkerchief to those who will be joining the hunting later before starting that's why the others are busy with who they will give laces to. Of course, don't expect Lady Miary to make some of it since she herself will be joining so I'm sure there because she never did even when she was not yet joining for his father or I should say the Duke.

After I helped them to build for the camp, we are gathered in front of the entrance of the venue for the announcement since the Royal family has arrived. We greeted the Royal family as they went to the front. The Emperor went up the stage to give his regards about the event and he will not prolong the speech since he knows that everyone is excited about the event and he said to us to do our best and enjoy the hunting before goes down, he said that the hunting will be started in an hour to have the time to prepare and give the chance for the Lady's to give their laces of their chosen participants. 

After the announcement, they first returned to their camps/camp base to pick up the equipment they will use. I went with them back to pick up my belongings and say goodbye since I will not be seeing them for a while though there is a possibility that I will see them on the hunting grounds but only a small percentage. I said goodbye to them after I picked up my belongings and Lady Miary just nodded because she was fixing something but I did not know what it was and Gin just bids me to be careful and good luck but Sofie suddenly grabs me and she handed me blue lace with a small blue rose. And since I did not expect her to give me I could not immediately say thank you that's why her face became sad when I couldn't answer right away.

"Don't you like it?" she said while looking down and she is about to cry so I was flustered because I did not know what to do.

"N-o, no. I like it, Sofie. I just didn't expect you to give me one." I said while comforting her. Gin laughed at us and he said why not give it to me when we have a relationship that's why I was able to answer 'yes indeed' even though we don't have that kind of relationship he was thinking. I left there after thanking Sofie and I said I would give her my harvest while acting like gentlemen such as kissing her hands and she blushed once patting my arms lightly and she told me not to do that because she might forget I'm a woman and eventually fall for me. I just laughed when she said that and I said that I was ready to be a man for her in a whisper but suddenly she pinched my side and she said that what I said was not a good joke that's why I just said yes so that she can let go of me.

I even rubbed my side because of Sofie's pinch pain while walking towards the camp of the dear prince. I saw Ian outside the camp as if he was guarding. I don't know if I'm going to greet him or not but I have no choice to greet him since he was under the Crown Prince. I was approaching when he suddenly looked at me so I was a little surprised there but I did not show and greeted him with 'good morning, Sir Ian' and he just nodded at me. As usual, he is really a man of a few words even though he used to be like that but now he is worse.

"Since you are here, take care of his Highness." He said before I could enter their camp after he had informed the Prince.

"Huh. What do you m~" I said while turning around but he was no longer behind me like a bubble he was gone for a few seconds so I just went inside.

"Greetings to his Highness, the Crown Prince. I, Avy have come to serve yo~" I stopped as I looked in front of me and I saw Renz resting his head on the table as well as his hands as if exhausted when I saw him a while ago with the Emperor with full of energy, so what happened to him? I approached him and asked him if he was okay and he said he was okay before sitting down properly.

"It's okay for me if we will go after you have enough rest, your Highness," I said because he seemed to fall if we went today.

"No, don't worry about me. I can handle myself." He said while pretending that he is okay.

"If you say so. By the way, your Highness, where are they?" I ask him about Kerz and Dravis since they are not here since they are always together so I wonder why they are not there and Ian was the only one outside to watch and left when I was here.

"They will be here, later but before that can you get the small bottle in the drawer." He said while pointing to the drawer on the right side which is not quite far from his table. I took the small bottle with a yellow-colored liquid inside of it and it seems familiar to me and it was a healing potion that was quite different from the common healing potions because this potion is harmful when taken in large quantities, it seems that this healing potion has side effects. This healing potion has a greater amount of healing capacities that it can recover all injuries or fatigue in just a second while the regular potion would take 30 minutes to an hour but it will give you side effects such as having a slow mana recovery for days. 

"Did you find it?" He asks me so I turned to him and said yes. I approached him and said that the potion has side effects so he suddenly looked at me and not only looked but sharply stare as if he was scanning me. He asks me how did I know that it has side effects and I answered him that I read in the book so he nodded but was not convinced by my answer. I know the potion since my previous teacher taught me that and how to eliminate side effects but it will take some mana. 

"Are you going to drink all of it?" I ask him after I handed the bottle.

"Yes, don't worry about me. Just prepare our things and you can leave your things here," he said so I just nodded and followed what he said.

After he drank all of the content of the bottle he stood up and he began to take off his clothes that's why I immediately turned my back on him. So, I ask him if he wants to be assisted so I can call the maids but he refuses and asks me to help him change his clothes for hunting. 

"Hey, help me here," he said to me because I was a bit far from him as he reached for his clothes as I looked at my feet because he was topless now so I can't look at him.

"Are you perhaps a ---" 

"No! I'm not a gay, Your Highness!" I said when he was asking me so he stopped speaking. I cut off what he was going to say because he might say I was gay since he was looking at me earlier even if I don't look at him you will feel someone is looking at you. He suddenly laughed as he brushes up his hair and said that was not his question but 'Are you perhaps a beginner or it is your first time to assists nobles?' so I was embarrassed there so I bent down even more so that he could not see my cheeks were red.

I just nodded in response to his question and averted my eyes because of the embarrassment I had caused. I assisted him to get change even though it was awkward because apart from this being the first time I assisted so I did not know what to do, so while I was helping him he was saying what I would do just like getting the water he would use and towels. After that is to prepare his clothes and help him to wear all of them and of course except for his pants and putting all of the accessories that I think it really expensive. Even though I was reluctant to put on his accessories, I couldn't help but be impressed by his good looks, especially up close.

"Sorry, Avy. I am not into guys," he told me so I wondered why he was telling me those.

"Pardon, your Highness," I said as my head tilted slightly while looking at him.

"I said, I am not into guys so don't look at me like that." He said before what he told me to sink in that's why my cheeks got hot and I'm sure they were blushing while I was just imagining the scene between the two of us having a romantic relationship.

"As I said, I am not gay your Highness. I swear." I said as I refuse because I might say I'm gay even if I don't.

"Is that so? Then, that's a relief." He said in a poker face as he gets his g*n and sword.
