The Crown Prince and Ian Welcome Party and the Festival Part 5

"Let's go your highness, it will be starting soon."

"You're right, let's go."

We lighted the lantern and ready to let go any moment. I looked back when someone calling me and it was Lady Miary with Ian. She waved at me and I slightly wave. Why are they here?, well they mentioned watching the lantern but I didn't expect to be near. I sighed but before I looked at them I smiled.

"Yesha, it's good to see you again --- oh you were with Gab. Did you two plan to go on a date?"

"NO! I just met him just now."

"Yes, I was with her awhile ago." the Crown prince answered.

"So, why are you with her? Don't tell me, you stalked her after she left when you said you are going to the restroom and didn't come back when we waited for you."Lady Miary said to him while he was just smiling. I cursed. Am I hearing it right that he also left immediately when I left? damn. This will be a problem if he will find my secret.

"No, I did go to the restroom but I want to take a breath so I went outside."

"Yesha, be careful with this jerk, okay"

"o-okay"

"Hey, Miary don't be like that. I am still the crown prince and be thankful that I leave Ian as your bodyguard since your knight is not here." He said to Lady Miary but she just ignores her.

After their conversation, we let go of the lantern and watch it as it flies above the sky. I looked at the Prince and Lady Miary who are silently watching the lanterns, then I look at Ian who was at my right side who is watching also but when he was going to look at my side, I immediately turned around and looked at the sky. Ian almost caught me, Wouldn't he recognize me? I know my appearance is a disguise as a lady but I hope he can realize that it is me.

"I hope you will look at me this time face to face, Miss Yesha." I was surprised when he talks to me, that's why I look at him.

"S-sorry?"

"Did we met before?"

"A--No? It's my first time to see you."

"No."

"Huh?" Don't tell me he can recognize me? That's why I smiled hoping that he recognizes me.

"We met at the café earlier, right?" Then, he was joked and then smiling at me.

"A-h, yes, yes." I looked away because of embarrassment.

After that awkwardness, we silently watch the lanterns and we decided to have a snack before we go home. I can't refuse when I said that I should go after the watching but she clings at me as if I am her friend already. So, we stop by again to the café and this time I am sitting with her and I am facing Ian. Lady Miary ordered the cakes that I didn't get to eat and she said that she was sorry for making me uncomfortable so as for the compensation. I just thanked her and we ate quietly.

Then we went out, I said I was staying at an inn so I said that they go ahead. However, she insists to escort me to the inn and Gab said he knows the way that's why I and Lady Miary glared at him. So, I don't have any choice so we walk to the inn but it looks like something wrong with the surrounding when we are passing by us because no one when I passed away earlier there are still people walking through the alley. Then, a group of mercenaries or thieves were coming to our spot with their swords, knife, and wood. Damn. I feel that we were about to fight with these dudes but I can't afford to be exposed.

"It looks like we will gonna face some fun." the Crown Prince said as he prepares his sword so as Ian and Lady Miary hold me at her back as she was protecting me.

"Give me that Lady, who was booked at that inn." The goons pointed at me and the inn that I was booked. What the hell did they want to me.

"Did you know them?'' Lady Miary asked me and I immediately shake my head.

"I guess that she doesn't have a business with you," Gab said.

"So what. She will be coming to us. If you don't want to make those handsome faces of yours to have a scratch then hand the lady." They said that's why the faces of the three of them became serious.

"What if we don't want to, since this lady doesn't know you." Gab mockingly answered them. They didn't even recognize the Crown Prince since it was dark and dim but our clothes are can be seen with the light coming from the moon.

"You don't? Then don't blame us for ruining for faces. Get them just don't hurt the boss's type." the goons leader command.

We also did, Gab and Ian fight them but they are too many and some of the goons reach as and Lady Miary fights them and she said that I should run. I smiled and happy because now Miary is defending me for the first time but I just watched them. And she shouted at me because of why I am not running but instead watching them so she grabbed me and started to run away from there.

The goons still following us and we make a turn to the right and left then right and then left and last we ended up with a dead end. She looked for a weapon as she telling me to run after she will make a way for me and I just nodded. I want to help her but I think she can do it so I just let her protect me.

Lady Miary fighting to the goons and making away but some goons came again and Lady Miary couldn't handle it so I took the sword on the floor. I fought and Lady Miary did not notice me fighting because she was busy in front.

"Yesha, run now."

"No, I will not leave you," I answered.

And because I have difficulty moving my dress so I cut the dress up to my thighs level since I wore pants so that I can freely fight them and I immediately finish them when Gab and Ian came as I knocked out the last person. Lady Miary was surprised that I know how to fight. Gab and Ian approached Lady Miary and ask her if she was okay and I was approaching them since I was in the dim part of the dead end.

"Don't look at her!" She shouted at them and pushing them to look back and I was puzzled while looking at Miary pushing them back.

"Yesha here put this." Lady Miary handed me a coat and it was Ian's coat so I looked at the coat and then looked at her.

"Why? " I asked her and she said that my dress is ruined. I realized that I toured awhile ago so I immediately grab the coat from lady Miary.

"Thank you, I forgot that I toured my dress," I said as I wore the coat to cover myself.

"I didn't know you can fight." She said while smiling at me.

"Well, you didn't ask me." I smiled.

"You are not an ordinary Lady, which house are you?" Crown Prince asked me when we are approaching them.

"I am just an ordinary citizen that knows how to fight," I said as I looked at him uninterested.

"Then my guess is correct that you are not an ordinary girl." he rebuttal as he looked at me as if he was observing me if I am telling the truth or not.

"I supposed," I said in a not uninterested tone.
