"Well, he is dancing and chatting with a woman," She said with an annoyed tone as she sits down beside Ronan since Prince was seating on a single chair sofa while Ian was seating with two sitter sofa.

"Is that so? Well, never mind that as long as everyone is here," Prince Renz said so I sat down next to Ian.

"Ian tell us what you found out," He commanded Ian so we looked at him.

"I found out that one of the Crown Princess's attendant was the woman that the Empress wants to adopt, and she was attending the Hunt Ball to have experience how social gathering is held for her first debut as the niece of the Empress a month from now on," He said so we just listened quietly even though Ian told me earlier about Nova.

"Lastly, The Crown Princess is with the Empress. I just confirm it a while ago when I saw Her Highness talking with the personal attendant of the Empress," He said though they were not surprised as if they are expecting it to be that they are working together but they don't have evidence. That's why I didn't see him before since he was investing outside the ball.

"I expected that she was with her but I am not really sure since they are not totally talking with each other alone," Prince Renz commented.

"I agree, though the Empress inviting her when she was having a small tea party as they are just having a casual talk and nothing more," She said as she trying to remember it.

"Now, that we know that they are working together. Let us just pretend that we don't know but we still watching their movements," Ronan said as he looked at us seriously.

"In that case, we should really investigate what the Empress planning," Prince Renz said while sitting seriously.

"That includes the Crown Princess even though she didn't do anything yet," She said as she sips in her tea that she serves herself. I just quietly listened to them since I am not aware that we are having a private conversation here.

"Yes, especially when she approached Avy earlier when I expected that she will never be interested in him," Prince Renz said as he looks at me with a troubled expression on his face so they looked at me except for Ian since he saw us with Prince Renz.

"Ah, that I didn't notice that she will be there, and aside from that she doesn't do anything to me," I said as I laughed a little to break the serious atmosphere but what I received are they stared at me so I look down because I feel like I made a mistake by laughing.

"Really? Nothing else?" Renz said so I looked up at him as he looked at me seriously.

"Hmm,"

"He said a while ago that the Crown Princess holds him in the face," Ian said to Renz so Renz looked at Ian and he thought.

"Then, that's the first after I saw her holds Avy's face with both hands," Prince Renz said so I remembered as if Ryah had something to say to me but Renz suddenly stopped her.

"Ah, right! I remembered that she was trying to say something to me but it was interrupted by His Highness," I said while looking at Renz.

"But when I look at the two of you is like she was going to kiss you," He said with an unsure expression while he is trying to remember what happened.

"Is that so? Well, I can say that she was trying to do that but I think she was going to say something," I said while scratching my head because they were all looking at me unsatisfied with my answer.

"What if she kissed you?!" Miary said while looking at me with concern so I felt guilty even though nothing bad happened to me.

"Don't worry Lady Miary. I am sure that she will not kiss me when she loves His Highness so I don't think she can do that easily," I said while I smiled because I was sure Ryah would not be able to kiss me since she was obsessed with the Crown Prince.

"How can you be sure of that?" Lady Miary asks me while raising an eyebrow looking at me.

"Yeah, how can you be sure that she will not do that?" Prince Renz seconded as he looked at me curiously.

"Well, she definitely will not do that when she is head over heels with you, Your Highness since she was trying to serve you almost every day but you always refuses her," I said with confidence so they couldn't believe me anymore and I remembered that it happened another year so I just laughed.

"How did you know that?" Lady Miary asks me.

"Ian, did you tell him?" Prince Renz asks Ian so Ian just shook his head in response.

"Well, that issue was not known by the public and only the people inside the palace know it," Sir Ronan said as he fixes his eyeglass since he was reading a document lying on the table so he just kept quiet because he was busy.

"A~ah, Hehe," I nervously said as I was sweating because Renz and Miary looked at me because I seemed to melt under the stare of the two of them.

"Did you really not tell anything to him, Ian?" Renz asked Ian again and again so Renz was no longer looking at me.

"Not a single story, Your Highness," He said as he looked at him seriously so Renz sighed when he was sure that Ian was telling the truth.

"Fine. So, how did you know that, Avy?" He asks me curiously so he looked at me again while Miary was also looking at me while waiting for my answer.

"A~hm. Well, I just heard it somewhere when I was near the kingdom, one time," I said while not looking at them properly since I read that on my notebook that's why I know. They looked at me carefully to see if I was telling the truth since they are looking at me intently.

"Hmm, Really?" Prince Renz looked at me suspiciously.

"Yes," I said as I looked at him seriously, and he just laughed at me so I looked at him badly because here I was nervous and then he suddenly laughed. I frowned at him while he just laughed at me. I don't know what's funny about what I said.

"Why are you laughing, Prince Renz?" Lady Miary asks him as she looks at him with a questioning look.

"It's nothing. Never mind me," He said as he stops laughing so we just looked at him.

"Geez, that habit of yours never change," She said.

"Well, Avy's reactions never fail me," He said so I was caught in my face what do I look like, or is there dirt? I looked at him badly.

"Don't make fun of me, Your Highness," I said seriously while looking at him with a sharp stare.

"Alright. Alright but we have to leave here now," He said while the smiles on his face disappeared when he looked out the window so we also looked there but there was no one.

"You go first Ian," He said to Ian after he casts something on the window like a transparent screen, and I think it was an illusion that cannot see what is inside.

"Okay," He said as he stands up but he looks at me first and says 'Be careful' before he totally went out after I nod as a response.

"Ronan, you will be the next one to go out since I need you to go to the venue," He said as he stands up on his chair as he looks outside the window so I also looked there and we saw something moving in the trees and bushes.

"Understood, Your Highness," He said as he walks out the door. 

"Is it one of the Empress's pawns?" She said as she also looks outside.

"Maybe," Prince Renz answered her as he looks outside intently while feeling the surroundings.

"Avy, you should go," She said to me so that I look at her because she let me go first when she should be since I am her knight so it is better for me to stay behind in case something happens.

"No, you should go first, Lady Miary," I said to her but she glared at me.

"Don't look at me like that," I said to her since she was glaring at me badly as if she was ready to eat me whole.

"You.go.first." She said with emphasis on all the words she left out and she did not look at me jokingly so I gasped looking at her because she was so stubborn. 

"Fine. I will wait for you outside if I checked nobody is there," I said since I surrendered with her stubbornness and I can do nothing because when she says I will go first then I will really go first. 

"Lower down your voices the both of you," Prince Renz told us as he looks seriously outside the window so we also looked outside since we noticed the movement of plants outside one after another.

"I will wait for you outside," I whispered to her as I went out the door carefully as I look side by side in the hallway. I got out and felt around me because it was strangely quiet here in the hallway. I check around and I found nothing so I will wait for Her Grace here near the entrance to the venue since they will not think suspiciously if they saw us together since I am her knight.

I waited a few minutes when Miary arrived while catching her breath so I supported her. "What happened?" I ask her since it is not too far to walk back.

"I take detour since I saw someone passed after I got out so I take detours," She said as she gasps for her breathe.

"Is His Highness, okay?" I ask her since he might be in endanger if the room was surrounded.

"I don't know but we need to check on him," She said as she takes a deep breath and ready to go back.

"I'll go instead, look for Ian," I said as I stop her to go back and she nods as she went inside the ball.

I go back as faster as I can when I saw two people outside the room who cover themselves with a black coat so I can't see their faces. I walk towards them carefully as I hit them in the back of their necks to make them faint as I tied them with a rope that I found in them. I didn't knock when I entered and I saw him fighting 5 people in a coat although Renz has superiority when it comes to strength. However, he was struggling when he can easily defeat them as I noticed that something on his hands and it is an item to restrain one's magic.

"Your Highness, jump backward," I said as I rush in front of them as I s***h them and it was good that he withdrew when I attacked because he did not expect me to return.

"Hey, are you really helping me or not?!" He said while looking at me annoyed so I just smiled annoyingly.

"Of course, I am here to help you," I said as I held one of his attackers since I didn't kill them. I only give them some wounds that are enough to immobilize them for a while.

"Really? when you nearly cut me with them," He said as he glared at me while removing the item from his hands.

"Well, I did inform you first, Your Highness," I said as I pulled him since we need to get out of here as soon as possible. 

"Your Highness, did you do something wrong with them?" I ask him when we got back to the room because many of them were waiting outside the door so we had no choice and went out the window. 

"How can I do something if I didn't even know them," He said as we both looked around before we jumped to the adjoining balcony.

"Is tha--" Renz immediately covers my mouth as he pulled me as we entered the room so I immediately walked away from him because he was so close to me.

"Shh," He said when I was about to talk so I was dumbfounded. He slowly closes the curtain.

"Why did you come back?" He said as he was checking the room and go to the door.

"Well, it is according to Lady Miary," I said since I can't let her be in danger so I also approached the door. Renz slowly opened the door and checked to see if anyone was there before we left. 

"Is that so?" He said as we continued walking back to the venue but we detoured since we can't go back even though it is closer there.

"Ye--" Then again, he grabs me while he covered my mouth as we enter a room. I frowned with an annoyed expression as I looked at him when he releases me.

"Could at least just tell me to shut up not just grabbing me as you please," I said while looking at him with an annoyed expression because this is the second time and it hurts to be dragged like that.

"Alright, I'm sorry since I can't warn you immediately if they pop out so suddenly," He said as he shrugs while smiling so I don’t know if I will be annoyed or not even if there is a point he is saying.

'Did you check this room?' We heard it coming from outside the door so I could not answer Renz.

'No,' His companion answered.

'Then, check it now before you go home,' He said. I looked at Renz what we were going to do but he looked out the window since there was a shadow.

"D*mn," I cursed since we can't go out in the window so as in the door.

'Understood, Sir,' We heard outside the door so Renz and I both looked at the door when we heard the doorknob unlocked. I pulled him...
