Special Chapter: Valentine's Day

Before the Valentine's Day.

"Lady Miary, what are you making with those bunch of chocolates?" Sofie asks her while she was busy melting the chocolates.

"Don't you know that it is the celebration of love 5 days from now on," She answered while still stirring the chocolate in the pot.

"Oh, yes, I forgot that it is this week but you didn't make any last year? Perhaps, you have a man you like?!" She said. " Her Grace is making chocolates for a man?!" She shouted as she went out without waiting for Lady Miary's answer as she tries to stop her but she didn't catch her.

"What?! Lady Collins is making chocolate?!" Avy's colleagues said at the same time when they heard Sofie shouting out of the kitchen. Avy looked at why they were gathering in the kitchen when she noticed that her comrades had disappeared because she was focused on her training.

"Hey, what are you guys doing here!?" Avy said to them as he was facing their backs and no one noticed her so he pulled them one by one.

"Don't pull me!" One of his colleagues when he pulled it without looking to Avy.

"What?" Avy said while glaring at him.

"Commander, I~I didn't know it's you~~," He said as he looks away since Avy is glaring at him.

"What is this commotion?" Avy asks them as they were in front of him while kneeling.

"We heard from Sofie that Lady Collins is making a chocolate," One of them answered him.

"Is that so?" Avy said as she could not figure out if she would be happy or not because of what she found out.

"Are you not curious about who she will give those chocolates?" Another question from his colleagues.

"No," He answered while remembering last year's Valentine's when she gives up on making chocolate, and she bought from the town as she never gives one so I don't think she will give it but she is making on it then maybe she will give it to someone. Well, it's not my business so I am not curious but I pity about who will she give the chocolate since she is s*ck in cooking.

"Why?~" They ask Avy in unison since I look not really interested.

"Well, I don't really care about valentine's or what," He answered as they look at him unbelievably.

"You say that Commander cause you are receiving a bunch of chocolates from the maids and even some young ladies from nobles," They said as they looked defeated.

"That~~ I didn't ask them though but fine I'll share with you guys," He said so his colleagues looked at him with teary eyes.

"Commander Avy is so kind," They said to him.

"Now, get back to the training ground. Hm. By the way, where is Gin?" He asks as they are going to the training ground since he didn't see him.

"Did you forget Commander? It's his off-duty today," 

"Is that so?" He said as his colleagues run off to the training ground.

Meanwhile, At Crown Prince's Residence. Prince Renz was walking in the hallway when he heard that maid's conversation 'Did you see Sir Ian is in the kitchen and making chocolate,', 'Really? Who is the lucky woman?' , 'Let's go watch him,' they said as they walk towards the kitchen.

"Oho, Ian is making chocolate~~," He said as he follows the maids to the kitchen. He silently looked inside the kitchen while the maids are in front of him and Ian is actually making chocolate.

"Y-your Highness!?" The maids shouted when they notice that the Crown Prince at their back so they accidentally opened the door.

"Prince Renz?" Ian said when he looks at the door as he stopped what he was doing.

"Who is the lucky woman that caught my Ian," He said as he entered the kitchen and the maids lined up.

"It's not your business, Your Highness," He casually said as he continues what he doing.

"It's delicious," Prince Renz said after tasting the chocolate on the bowl while Ian preparing the molders.

"Don't taste it without permission, Your Highness," Ian said as he pours the chocolate in the molder.

"It's not like that I eat all of it, Ian," He said as he looks at Ian who is really into making the chocolate.

"Really, who is the lucky woman Ian," He asks him again.

"As I said, it's not your business, Your Highness," He answered as he covers the chocolate and starting to clean.

"Who is it?"

"I'm not telling you, Your Highness," Ian said as he passed Renz.

"Tell me," Prince Renz still not giving up as he follows Ian as he cleans the kitchen.

"No," Ian answered while avoiding Prince Renz who is following him.

"Tell me, tell me," He said as he faced Ian.

"No, Your Highness," He said and passed Renz.

"Fine, just give me those chocolates, too," He said.

"No, since I'm sure you will get many chocolates your Highness including from the Crown Princess Ryah," Ian told Prince Renz but Renz's smiling face disappeared when he heard the Crown Princess. 

"Ugh, don't mention that woman's name," He told Ian.

"Yes, yes," Ian said as he finishes cleaning.

"Just give me those chocolates, Ian." Prince Renz told Ian so Ian faced Renz while removing the apron that he used.

"No," Ian answered Renz as he looks at him with a bored expression.

"Then, I have no choice to investigate that lucky girl," He said as he grins as he walks outside the kitchen. You can imagine a devil looks of Prince Renz while grinning. Ian tried to stop his Highness but he accelerated his speed so he didn't grab the Prince before he can leave the kitchen.

"Sir, you have a package," His butler said when he got inside the room.

"From?" He asks.

"From Crown Prince. It contains a chocolate bar that is best to make homemade chocolate." He said.

" Why would he gave me chocolate bars?" He asks.

"Sir Alfinus, it is Valentine's week and it looks like Ian made homemade chocolate so the Crown Prince wants you to make it for him." He answered him so he looked at the butler since he was not looking to the butler.

"What? If I remember he can receive a bunch of chocolates, I will not be going to make chocolate," Ronan told his butler.

"But, the Crown Prince told that if you didn't make one he will stay here for a month," The butler said, and immediately Ronan's face could not be read. He remembered the memories when the Crown Prince stayed with him such as putting too much sugar on his coffee even the food is sweet so he doesn't want to live with him even though bought of them doesn't really like sweets.

"Fine," He answered and the butler went out. "If he was not only a Prince," he said out of frustration.

"And, Lastly, Sir Alfinus he said in the last part that 'Don't you dare buy chocolate or else. YOU.SHOULD.MAKE.ONE.'. then come out again.

"He really does what he wants," He murmured since he really thinks to buy chocolate but then he can't do that since the Crown Prince will know about it.

"Prince Hanz, you have a gift," his attendant told him.

"From?" Prince Hanz asks.

"From the Empress,"

"What it is?"

"It was a chocolate, Your Highness." He answered him.

"Oh, it was valentine's week, right?" 

"Yes, do you want to take a bit?"

"Later, buy me a dark chocolate bar. I'm going to make for the Crown Prince,"

"Right away, your Highness,"

"Klin! Did you send the chocolates?" Prince Kilden asks Klin.

"Yes, your Highness," He answered.

"Do you think he will like it?" He asks him.

"I am not sure, Your Highness," He said as he looks at Kilden who is smiling widely while looking outside the balcony.

"I hope he will like it since I made it myself," He said.

"Yes, yes, but is that okay to give him a chocolate?" He said since giving homemade chocolates to family, friends, lovers, or people who are closed to you, means showing off affection or importance.

Avy was thinking of making homemade chocolate for Ian that is not too sweet so she decided to buy dark chocolate since it is not that sweet, unlike the common chocolate. He sneaks out at night to make chocolate for Ian and for Ronan since she did too much. She separated the chocolates into two which she wraps with special packaging for each of them. He thought of giving Ronan since she thinks that no one will give him knowing his personality, and also, as gratitude for helping her when she got back to the kingdom.

"I hope Ian will like it," She said when she got out of the kitchen as went to her room.

Valentine's Day...

Avy was going to the training ground when Sofie handed chocolate. "Thank you, Sofie. Happy Valentin's Day!" Avy said to Sofie and Sofie just said welcome before leaving because she still has work to do.

Avy arrived at the training ground but no one is there so she plans to go to Alfinus State to give the chocolate. She arrived at Alfinus's state but the butler said that the Marquess went to the palace so she left the chocolate and left. He was going to Ian's house now but Ian was not there so she just left it.

"Please give it to Ian," She said before she left.

It was afternoon when he returned to Collins State. Avy went straight to her room and she was surprised when there are so many chocolates. He looked at who they were from and the big box was from Prince Kilden of the neighboring Kingdom, one from Lady Miary, and one from Ian and from the others. Avy grabs the chocolate from Ian as she opens it immediately and it is a heart and candy shape.

"It's so cute and delicious," She said after eating one.

"Now, why would a Prince from a neighboring kingdom gives me a chocolate?" She said as she opens the big box.

"D*mn, It's so big," he said because it was huge heart-shaped chocolate with his face on it. She tastes the chocolate and it was dark chocolate but sweeter when something fell. She looks at it and it was a letter so she opened it and the letter's content was 'I hope you like my homemade chocolate and you are the first person I gave one, Little Avy.' Avy's face can't be read because it was so cringy for a man. Then, she didn't notice that there's more and the last part was ' It has a love potion, I hope I am the first person you will see after eating it', Avy was almost vomiting when she read it and there was more to the letter below. 'I'm just kidding! From: Prince Kilden Winston'.

"I'll make sure to punch his face when I see him, and I didn't even tell you to give me, one" Avy said as she crumpled the letter.

"Is this safe?" Avy murmured as she grabbed the chocolates from Lady Collins. She opened it and it looks normal since it was not burned or anything but the problem was the taste.

"Please make the tastes normal," She prayed before she takes a small bite into the chocolate.

"It tastes normal, it's a miracle!" she said after she tasted the chocolate but then it has an aftertaste burn and bitterness.

"I'm aware that she was not good at cooking, my hopes for her is crushed," Avy said while teary-eyed.

The Next day... At the Banquet.

"How's your day yesterday, Ian," Prince Renz asks Ian.

"Wonderful," He said so Prince Renz smirk.

"Did the woman respond to you?" He said while smiling.

"No, not really but I receive from her," he said and the Prince was surprised.

"R-really?! Ian has a lover!" He said as he pats Ian's shoulder.

"No, not really," Ian denied.

"Then, what? Do you expect me not to think if both of you give each other a chocolate?!" He said.

"Yes, since you receive a bunch of it so it's just like that, your Highness," Ian said.

"Yes, yes, and I burn the chocolates from the empress and the princess," He said as he looks disgusted while mentioning the names.

"You should at least taste it," Ian jokingly told Renz.

"Do you want me to be poisoned?" 

"Of course not, Your Highness," Ian said to Renz,

"Geez, Lady Collins, here," Renz called Lady Collins.

"Greetings, Your Highness the Crown Prince," She greets.

"Did you receive the chocolates?"

"Yes, thank you, your Highness," She answered.

"I heard that you made a homemade chocolate, so who is the lucky guy?" he said to Lady Miary as he smirks.

"How did you know -- well I gave it to Avy," She said while embarrassed.

"What? really?!" Can't believe he said.

'I pity him,' He murmured since he was aware that Lady Collins is not good at cooking.

"Oh, Ronan, come here," Prince Renz called Ronan.

"Hello, Marquess Alfinus," Lady Miary greeted and Ian also greeted Ronan.

"Greetings, Your Highness the Crown Prince, and hello Lady Collins," He said and afterward he greeted Ian.

"The chocolates are good, Ronan," Renz said,

"I'm glad that you like it, Your Highness," He answered.

"By the way, did you receive chocolates? I know you didn't receive one other than from us because of your personality,"

He said as he was teasing him and Lady Collins and Ian laughed.

"Yes, yes, but I received one yesterday from someone," He said as he gets a wine.

"You should be kind--What!? someone gave you?!" He said while looking at him if he was telling the truth.

"Yes," He answered casually as he swirls the wine.

"Really? Who is it?" Lady Collins asks him too since he would normally receive one other than them.

"It was from Avy," He said as he drinks his wine.

"What?!"/ "From Avy?!" They said in unison so as Ian, since he didn't expect that Avy would give chocolate other than him as for lady Collins and the Crown Prince, were very surprised since Avy doesn't care about that occasion. 

"Y-yes, why are you guys shouting," He said since he nearly spilled the wine on his clothes as he looked at them, and they looked jealous of him.

"Why are you guys looking at me like that?" He said as he slowly walks backward.

"What did you do why did Avy give you one?" Prince Renz said while Lady Collins nods as they walk towards him.

"Asks Avy not me," He said as he gets away from them, and they were running.

Meanwhile... Avy suddenly sneezes as he eats his dinner.

"Did you catch a cold, Avy?"Sofie asks him.

"No, I think someone is cursing me," She answered.
