Chapter 15

Blake POV

It’s been a week that Lance get by those person, he sacrifice himself just to be make us safe… Shaniya didn’t talk just like how she used to be… she is still crying even me I’m still crying I don’t know if he still alive and I wish that he is still alive because I cant bear it if we lose him… Liam is still doing something that can make us saved Lance. I’m now okay with my bruise but I’m still thinking of Lance safety if he is okay…I’m here at our room looking the memory that we shared in this short period of time. I don’t know what would I do if he died. I cry silently in our room and then Shaniya came into our room.

“daddy is you still crying?” She asked me

“yes, baby I’m still worried about the safety of you papa” said to her

“me also daddy I’m still worried and I’ sorry because if it was not me papa will still here.” She said and I looked at her and I carried her.

“no baby it’s not your fault… it’s your papa’s decision to save us both. I’m sorry baby if daddy didn’t do something to stop your father.” I said to her

“no daddy it’s not your fault also, I know papa will survive, let us trust god because he will give a hero to papa to be saved” she said to me and I hugged her… I wish you are safe my love… I will do everything to save you just wait for me… Shaniya got sleep in my arms and I place her in our bed, this time I need Shaniya to make sure she is safe according to what said… later my phone beeped and I looked what is it and it was a text message

“he is safe and I promise that he will come back to where he belongs just give a time and I will send a signal where you will come just to save him.” That what said on the text that I received… I breathed a sigh of relief just knowing that he is safe… I just pray that it will come immediately because the Christmas is coming and she is still not here. I texted that person.

“who are you.” I said to him

“you will know in the right time.” That was he said… three days later we received a text that it’s time to rescue Lance… we prepared and go to that place again, before going to that place we make sure that Shaniya and Sofia are safe so we asked dad if we can bring them to the house and he said yes because he knows that they will safe there.

“are you ready Xander.?” Said Clint

“yes, I’m ready.” I said to them and I prepared my gun

“okay let’s get it on.” Said Kalen… we arrived to the place where Lance is… we follow the instruction of that anonymous person, when we get there I treadled the door and the people inside was shock for our comings we fight, I will not let them beat me again once is enough… we fight and fight… after we make them down I go to the room where Lance is and I saw him tied up, so I go to him and untie him I hug him

“babe I’m here don’t be afraid I’m here I’m going to get you out of here.” I said to him

“thank you… thank you Blake.” He said to me while crying

“let’s go.” I said to him and we get out of the room… Liam is waiting for us I carried Lance in my arms… when suddenly he got up and pushed me and I heard the sound… BANG!!! And my world stops because Lance got shot near in his heart and Liam got shot that person. I hurriedly come to him

“babe, don’t leave okay! Stay still I will bring you to the hospital okay.” I said to him

“Bl…Blake thank you for saving me.” He said to me

“no babe stops talking it will worsen your wound “I said to him, I’m completely crying now because my love is 50/50… we hurriedly go to the van and Clint will be the who will drive… he starts the van and drive to the nearest hospital. I can’t see him like this… why did it happened… he saved my life again for the second time… I’m useless I can’t protect the man that I love from being harmed.

“Clint faster!!!” I said to Clint and he faster the van… Liam put a compressor to Lance wound

“Lance be strong okay don’t give please Shaniya is waiting for you.” Liam said while crying

“don’t worry I will fight, just let me take a rest please.” He said to us in his lowest voice

“no, don’t close your please don’t.” I beg him not to close his eyes

“if something happened to me please take care of Shaniya and make sure you will find my brother.” he said to me

“don’t say that babe please no.” I said to him

“and if I’m going to die promise me that you will read the letter inside the box and make a revenge.” He said to me

“no nothing will happen to you, don’t say such things.” I said to him and we arrive at the hospital Kalen shout the nurse to give us stretcher and they hurriedly put Lance and bring to emergency room… we keep waiting on the waiting area, I put my hands on my head and started to cry again…

“it’s my fault, it’s my fault.” I said to myself and Liam come to me and give me a hug

“it’s not your fault Xander, he made it by his own choice, he just wants to save you, instead of blaming yourself, why would you not try pray and ask him to make your Lance safe from danger, he will not like it if you blame yourself.” Said Liam and still comforting me… I stand up and go to chapel… I pray, please save him from death I don’t want to lose him please I’m begging you, don’t take him away from me, from us, we still want him by our side, I have many things that I will say to him, even it is wrong in your eyes to have a union of the same gender but I want to marry him, I’ve never love like this before. After I’ve done praying I go back to the waiting area and we still keep on silent… Liam informed Sofia about what happened to Lance… after and hour the doctor came out from the emergency room.

“who are the relatives of the patience?” asked the doctor

“me doc… is he okay?” I asked him

“yes, he is now okay… he will wake up after 3 days or more” said the doctor and I got relief about the news about Lance

“thank you, doc.,” We said to him and hi bow to us to pay respect and we did it also…

“we will transfer him to private room after that you can visit him.” He said to us… and then he live… after Lance got transfer we go there and there was an apparatus that he have… my tears fall down and I hold his hand

“please wake up my love. We will be waiting for you.” I said to him even I know he can give me an answer.

“Xander we will be going home first to get clothes for you.” said Liam

“yes, please I don’t want to leave him here.” I said to him

“no problem he will wake up, he is brave as you are.” Said Kalen

“yeah it’s true I know he will wake up soon.” Said Clint

“thank you, guys.” I said to him

“Lance are our family also, we promised to each other that we will protect him but we are the one who he protected.” Said Kalen

“he is just like that, that’s why when I first meet him I know to myself that we can be a good friend until he save me from being hit by the car.” Said Liam, you’re truly a good person my love, please wake up.

“just like he did to Shaniya, he saves her from being hit by the car.” I told them and they got shock

“someone is trying to kill Shaniya.? But for what?” said Clint

“I don’t Clint… I’ve never had an idea about it.” I said to them…

“okay we got to go and we will back tomorrow.” Said Liam and they bid a goodbye to me and Lance

“okay take care.” I said to them and they leave us two in this room. I looked at him, it should be me who is there, why did you catch the bullet that for me… every single day I’m totally in love with you, you make my life complete… please comeback to me my love… I love you.

Third Person POV

Its been three days and Lance is not yet awake, the Christmas is getting nearer and Xander is still in hospital taking care of Lance. Shaniya cried when she heard about what happened to his papa, sometimes the boys are coming to visit Lance and leave immediately because they have to manage the coffee shop. Xander is still praying that Lance will wake up.

“Babe please wake up now.” Xander said to the sleeping Lance, but he didn’t know that the hands of Lance move. In the night the doctor came in and check the condition of Lance, in the middle of the night Lance hand move and he slowly opened his eyes and he roamed it around and then he saw Xander sleeping beside the bed and he slowly touched Xander head, that made Xander wake and he looked at Lance and he hugged Lance in a soft way.

Lance POV

Even when I sleep I know Blake is taking to me and I’m trying to wake up but I know it’s not time. But when the times comes I slowly opened my eyes and roamed around and I looked at Blake who sleeping beside me and I touched his head that cause to him to be awake and he look at me and hugged me

“thanks god your awake now.” He said while crying

“water.” I said to him so that I can talk to him I need to drink water first and he gave me water.

“here’s babe drink it first.” He said to me

“I’m sorry.” I said to him

“no need to be sorry, the most important is you come back to us.” He said to me and kissed me on lips

“how was Shaniya.?” I asked him

“she’s okay, she is worried about you.” he said to me

“the others.?” I asked him

“they are also worried about you.” he said and he hugged me again

“don’t you ever do that again babe,” he said to me

“I will do it again just to make sure you will be safe.” I said to him

“just promise me please.” He said and hugged me again, we keep on hugging and he called the doctor that I’m awake, he told me the do’s and don’ts

Liam POV

Were here in the coffee shop doing our job since Lance is not yet wake up so we need to double work because of the absence that we have… when suddenly my phone got ring so I answered it, it was Xander

“hello Liam.” He said on the phone

“yes, is there something wrong.?” I asked him

“Lance is already awake and the doctor said we can go home after 2 days” said Xander and I just got happy about the news that I’ve heard that finally Lance is awake.

“okay we will visit there later after the work.” I said to him and he answered okay and hung up the phone… I go to Kalen and Clint and tell them the good news about Lance that he is awake now…

“Honey, Clint… Lance is awake now.” I said to them the good news

“really? thanks god” said Clint with a relief in his eyes…

“we will be together this coming Christmas.” Said Kalen

“yeah it’s true and we will celebrate it here in the coffee shop.” I said to them

“that’s great we will celebrate here since it was here who meet Xander and Lance.” Said Clint

“we will tell him later.” I said to them and we got to work… how many months that we are together now… after work we ahead to the hospital to visit Lance when we get there, they are talking and we said good evening to them.

“good evening.” I said to them

“good evening too.” Lance said to us

“how are you feeling.?” I said to him and I come over to him and hug him

“I’m totally fine now, don’t worry.” Lance said to me and the two boys hug him also

“did Shaniya know that you are awake now.?” I asked him

“yeah she knows and she cried when she saw me.” Said Lance

“she keeps on asking as to bring her here.” Said Clint

“it’s better not to bring her here, I don’t want her to get sick… I hate hospitals.” He said and we keep on talking about this incoming and they said yes. We need to prepare the coffee shop, after an hour we bid a good bye to them and go home… it was a big relief for us that Lance woke up.

Someone POV

I sigh a big relief that you are okay now Lance… and I go back to my work… don’t worry Lance I will help you… I’m sorry I didn’t save that time because I know he will suspect in me… and my phone get rang

“hello” I said on the phone

‘’where are you.?” he said to me

‘’here at work, why boss?” I said to him and ask

“keep on eye to them, because she will be coming home.” He said and I get nervous because Lance will be hurt and I know she will come where every body is happy. I hope Lance would take it.
