Chapter 2: (Xander POV)
I woke up with the alarm of my phone so I got up and do my daily routine… today I’m going to dad’s company because in the near future I’ll be the one who will managed it… he texted me last night that I need to go there whether I like it or not… so I have no choice and I’ll be right there at the moment… I drove my car to the company and after a minute I got there… I parked my car and go to the inside… the employee keep looking at me and they greeted me with good morning… they know that I’m the son of the CEO and next CEO of this company… it’s just that I have something settle first that’s why I request my dad just to manage the company a little bit time, I’m still moving on of my past and the problem of our group… my dad knows that I’m a gangster because it is his gang since back then I’m just taken it now because dad is so busy with the company… we have so many enemies… after I got out from the elevator I directly to go to dad’s office…
“Benedict where’s dad?” I asked him because dad is not in his office. He is dad secretary
“boss is still in the meeting for the mean time maybe they will finish it after a couple of minutes.” He said
“okay thank you.” I said to him I sat on the couch and take out my phone. When I opened it, Kalen texted me that we will go to a café not to far from our company so I said yes and wait for me an hour because dad wants me to talk to him… after a minute’s dad enter his office and greeted me.
“morning son… how are you.?” He asked me. My relationship with my dad is very good, since my mom died a year ago… I have a brother but he is in the US with his husband, yes, my brother is married to a man and I supported him, me and my dad.
“morning too dad… I’m fine dad… why did you call me so suddenly dad? Is there any problem with the company?” I said to him.
“no son… I just miss you and wanted to see you…” he said while pouting… didn’t I tell you that my is so childish, even he is a gang leader his personality is… never mind…
“dad! Don’t pout it’s not suit on you now… your too old to do that.” I said to him
“hey young man I’m not that old… but if keep on insisting me that I’m old I’m going to find a beautiful woman to date you, my business partners have a daughter.” he said playfully to me…
“no thanks dad I don’t have a time for that. I have my problem with me now.” I said to him
“are you still keep thinking of her? Son as a father I don’t want to see you suffer from pain. I want you to be happy. Son move on live your life.” He said to me in a serious tone… my dad really knows me, even I’m cold outside, my dad will not buy it because he always says “I’ve been on your shoe and most especially you are my son”. That’s why I love my dad, since my mom gone he never find another woman because he doesn’t want to replace my mom in his heart.
“dad how? It’s still hurt… why did she do that… I’m not going to be like this if it’s not here.” I said to him because since my ex-girlfriend cheated on me I’ve become a cold-hearted person… when were still together I’m just like dad but since he cheated I’ve became like this.
“try to love again.” Dad said to me
“but I’m not going to love again dad.” I said to him
“how could you move if still keep thinking of her. Maybe someone will come much better than him and will love unconditionally, don’t close your heart son. It’s so good to be in love. Remember this love will come all in or way, even if how many times you escape or deny that you wont love again. Trust me Blaze you can’t run away if you fall in love.” He seriously said to me.
“I… I just can’t to forget her…” that’s what I said to dad
“I don’t have to say anymore… but always remember I’m always right here will support you. What will the decision you made?” He said to me
“thanks dad you’re still the best dad in world.” I said to him
“yes I’ am… if they only knew that their enemy is just like a baby when it comes to his dad… haha!!!” my father laughs and teasing me.
“dad!!!” I said to him “ahmm… dad I’ll go now Kalen want to have a coffee at this coffee shop near hear in our company… you want to join?” I said to him and asked if he want to join us.
“oh? No thanks son I have a meeting in 12:00 so go now maybe they’re waiting for you.” He said to me
“yes dad… see you dad take care… eat your lunch before you go to the meeting” I said to him and he said yes. I go out from the company and drove my car to the place where my friends sent me the locations… when I got there I’m shocked because this place where so relaxing and it’s refreshing so I get inside and I saw my friends seating behind the window and they are talking… in outside world no one knows that we have a gang in the underworld… so I go there and sit…
“since Xander is here let get’s order.” Kalen Said
“let’s get order or your really want see the cashier in that counter.” Clint teasingly said to Kalen.
“shut up I don’t want to see him.” He said but her eyes are everywhere… tsk! Tsk! This boy… never mind.
“but your eyes are everywhere.” I said to him and he got blushed… what the… did he really blush?
“f*ck dude your blushing. Is that girl really beautiful.?” Asked Clint
“no, he’s not a girl, he’s a boy.” Said Kalen we got dumfounded
“how many times you go here?” said Clint but he still shocks
“mostly everyday… and bro he’s friend is freaking beautiful like a goddess but he also a boy.” Said Kalen…and suddenly a man approaching us and maybe it is the boy that Kalen hitting on…
“oh, peacock you’re here again? Hi Xander, nice to see you again.” said the boy, actually I know him, were close back then but when his parents died he became an elope to us I don’t know why
“hi nice to see you again” I said to him, and he just smiled at me, so I smiled at him, and they got shock, but I didn’t mind them.
“yes, why do you care.!” He said but I’ve smirked… oh boy you can’t hide it from us but you’re totally whipped.
“nothing I’m here get you’re order because one of my employees didn’t arrive yet. But it’s okay I understand why he’s late.” Said prince … we got order. Then suddenly the door opens a beautiful creature arrive… I mesmerized at his beauty… did dad said is really true… and when he speaks.
“gosh I’m sorry I’m late… I got up late and your sister call me last night and talk to me till midnight… that brat I’m going to give her a smack when she comeback.” He said to his boss
“it’s okay… go get changed.” He said and live…and I’m still glancing at him and I dint know that my friends are calling because that man right now is an angel. Dad maybe right… but something wrong with him… he looks like a broken man hiding it in his lovely smile…
