Chapter 13
Keplar's alarm went off at 7am and then he rolled over and fell back asleep Ten minutes later he woke again. This time he forced his eyes to remain open and he realized there were no bad dreams. He smiled, Thank you Lord for sending me Rose.
He was in the office by eight sharp. Trish still beat him by a minute. Once he had gone through the small stack of memos, he called Rose. He was a little surprised to find her home.
Sleepily, she grabbed for the phone from her lamp stand beside the bed and dropped it on the floor. The receiver found its way under the bed. “Hold on she said loudly, I dropped the phone.” Rolling out of bed, she reached under the bed. A moment later, she had the receiver cradled between her cheek and shoulder and yawned, “This better be good.”
