Chapter 14Keplar, stopped for a coffee at another new fast food restaurant called The Quarterback. The roof was a huge semblance of a football sticking out of the top. The coffee was cheap and rich. He sat in the driveway sipping for a few minutes.
A short time later, he found Rodney and Lorraine Olson, who lived right next door to Goodley on the left, the opposite side from the Longley's. Their house was a little different from the others. It had a nearly flat roof that sloped a bit toward the lake. The facade had three large windows and the door was set on the left corner. It too had a large sturdy oak look. The front latch, hinges and door knocker were painted black. The grass and shrubbery were trimmed perfectly.
