Chapter 51
It didn't take long for Knutson to locate the Sheriff in Lude. The gun was found within the hour and ballistics would be run in the morning.
Knutson called Keplar first thing in the morning and let him know that the gun was found. “We'll know if their ballistics test was done successfully and then they will mail a photo and report. We will soon know if his gun was used to kill Mr. Knife.”
“Good, I have a few things to wrap up here, half the day I expect.”
“So I'll see you here a little after noon. No uniform, you will be in civies as long as you are here.”
Keplar laughed, “I only have one suit, guess I'll have to invest in another. You know any good tailors?”
“Yeah, it's called Sears. That's where all my high class suits come from and the price is right,” Knutson sai
