The next morning, he opened the folder Rose had given him and decided he wanted to interview each of the developers. Not wanting to go into a neighboring community without official authorization, anymore than he had to, he put in a call to Chief Mooney.
He flipped through his Rolodex until he found his number.
“Mooney here.”
“Hi Chief, Keplar here.”
“Long time Chief. When was the last time?”
“It was about a year ago at a conference in Minneapolis. Still pumping iron?”
