Chapter 24
Tim Shelfly knew he had to get out of town fast, so he grabbed the bare essentials and headed north on 47, through Anoka and on to Isle. An hour and a half later he was driving slowly around the east side of Mille Lacs lake, he searched for an out of the way fishing resort where he could rent a cabin and hole up for awhile, til he figured out what to do. He had phoned a buddy before he left and told him to expect a call sometime soon and asked him to bring some cash and food when he told him where he was staying.
