CHAPTER 39 ON MONDAY MORNING, I rolled over and groaned as my head pounded with a force that would make a Jedi weep. I wanted to believe the events of yesterday had just been a horrible dream, but when I saw my little case parked on the other side of the bed, I knew they weren’t. And to cap it all, Oliver hadn’t stayed with me last night. No, we were back to separate rooms again. We’d flown back from Georgia, on Emmy’s private jet, no less.
