Elissa was all ears for what Cally was about to say. She was curious about what the mayor had found out about that laboratory. She already knew the result was fake, obviously, because she was Katarina’s mother. She was the only person who was a hundred percent sure of whom the child's father was.
“They were accepting money from people who wanted fake results,” Cally revealed.
Elissa’s eyes widened a bit. She was expecting that Santina might have paid for the laboratory, but she wasn’t expecting that there were more people who had been paying for the laboratory.
She couldn’t believe that there are laboratories like that. They were concealing the truth, not giving a chance for other kids or fathers to be with each other.
