2876, Terran Exploration Vessel Australia
Helen called the team together for a daily meeting and update on their progress with the project. Three weeks since they intercepted the alien ship from the future, and she didn’t know what to call the project. Clay had suggested the Yankee Project, but she thought that revealed a bit too much about what was going on.
“Aw, come on, Doc! How many people would have even read a Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court?”
“That’s not the point. We can’t let it get out that our guests are from the future. The quarantine story is holding so far.”
At least it seemed like the story was holding. Most of the crew was focused on reaching Cyeechie, now only a few weeks away. There was curiosity about their guests. Helen still called them guests
