Chapter 7 The Tretan Shuttle Asearch of the cabin had failed to turn up a way to access the ship systems. Interface panels remained unresponsive. The only lights came from their comm screens, which didn’t have any connection except with each other. Muriel’s reflection in the darkened wall screens was pale, barely illuminated by the meager light from the comm. Her eyes were dark shadows, the pale gray hidden by the dim light. Strands of her hair floated free around her head like a halo, faintly illuminated by the light from Dyami’s comm as he drifted across the cabin.
