Andrea Brillantes looked at the gown she was wearing and a tear dripped down her eyes. Only a few minutes remained before she'd walk down the aisle to the altar so as to be wedded to Niklas Brillantes, the true owner of the surname, Brillantes. Raising the overflowing gown as much as she could, she walked over to the window of the dressing room she was in. She stole a stare out of the glasses and saw her mother. Not exactly her biological mother but the surrogate one. The one that had allowed the test tube fertilized form of her to be attached to her womb. Her mother had refused carrying her in her own with the excuse that she was a slay queen and celebrity who wouldn't afford to allow child bearing affect her sexy shape. Andrea couldn't forget how she had hated her and her father before her father's death. Even after her father's death, a week was all she gave him before she sent her off to an orphanage and remarried an actor who was richer than her and more accomplished in the entertainment industry. She had ran away from the orphanage and that was how she was found by a woman who gave her a home, a single family and told her the truth concerning her birth. All these only increased the hate and loathe she had for her biological mother. That hate had made her read theatre arts at the university, not because she had an unflinching passion for it, but because she wanted to beat her mother at her own game and the reasons she had abandoned her and her father. Although these incidents took place 15 years ago, and her father had died when she was 8, the hate she had for her mother grew with her daily and each time she saw her posts on social media and how she claimed to have no child. Her husband was rich, filthy rich and owned numerous casinos and club houses in the city, life was so easy for her but for once she never went to the orphanage to look for her daughter, that's if she even considered her to be. She looked out again and saw her mother, she was smiling and wore clothings that worth millions. Clothing's that even in years to come, she was not sure she could buy for her. This was the dream she had planned and promised for them both but now , someone else was fulfilling it instead of her. A week ago, she had returned from her place of work to inform her that her mistress was looking for a bride for her ill mannered son and she had suggested her daughter. And she had accepted it, not because she wanted to, but because his money could aid her revenge mission against her mother.
