“Okay, so can you explain once again why we should know about the Hypodermic Needle Theory?”
I glance up from my notes.
"Because Professor Reynolds said it's going to be on the midterm," Jazz replies from her perch on the floor, buried in textbooks. “The theory that the media is injecting messages right into the veins of passivity in audiences like a needle.”
“That sounds fake,” Indie mutters.
“It is fake. That’s why we’re studying it, to see how media theory developed.”
“I hate Communications.”
“You picked Communications.”
“My past self was an idiot.”
I can’t help but grin as I scribble notes on the two-step flow model. We’ve been at this for an hour, and I’m not remembering much.
My brain keeps wandering back to Felix.
