I’ve been like a sleepwalker these past few days, with Willa as my only anchor to Earth. She takes care of me, feeds me, helps me bathe, and even sleeps with me every night, chasing away my nightmares. Willa takes better care of me than anyone ever could, staying by my side every moment.
I wonder if she knows how undeniably she’s embedding herself into me, to the point that I don’t know who the hell I am without her.

“You woke up,” she murmurs lazily, lying next to me with sleepy eyes.
