AUTHOR Completing her last raged utterance, Aadya rapidly released the built-up energy while the wolf-blood male rushed to her as the magic poured out of her, clasping his arms around her. A wave of energy began to spin around them both at much velocity that the face of the queen who was merely regaining from the previous discharge grew ashen. Her mouth was clamped, her eyes fixed and her entire body became impossibly still. Alisdair continued to hold Aadya. "Aadya! Aadya, look at me" His voice bellowed as the heavy wave stuck with much pressure, surging forcefully around them. Yet the voice of Alisdair calling her back was too far to reach. Aadya wasn't listening, her wrath and despair, all consumed her beyond what any of them had seen or felt. It wasn't a decision or choice. It just happened, and the source was right in front of her. Alisdair just has to push past the barrier in her mind to be able to call her back. The palace door pushed open with more guards rushing in. "Aadya! Listen to my voice! LISTEN!!" In a blink, everything seized and the room fell into a deep silence. She pulled away from Alisdair and then started to run. She bolted toward the palace door. To where that might be, she wasn't certain. But she knew she needed to get out of there. Alisdair bitterly moved to stand before the Queen. Barely enough space separating them, and with the pressure of desiring to end her at the spot he released just a single line. "You're evil" And with that being said, he turned and began to hurry toward the door. The initial two guards were about to halt him, except in a flicker he lacerated their throats with his sword. Their lifeless body fell to the ground after he was out of reach. Chasing after her. "Leave them" The queen's voice rose as more guards were about to surge out of the palace. "If she's still a witch. Then I know certainly where she's heading" She mumbled to her own hearing. Aadya's feet slapped the concrete floor sending her jetting past the various figures that blurred in her speed. She darted past people, taking the route to where they had left their horses. "Aadya?" Gunnar's voice came off as confused before Aadya mounted one of the horses and took flight. Soon, Alisdair followed on the second horse with Gunnar. Urging their horse to move faster as they departed from the kingdom in pursuit of Aadya. They raced across the open field where the blue sky was dotted with fluffy white clouds, and Aadya's long hair danced with the pace of her horse and wind. And through the forest, Aadya continued. "Hyah!" Alisdair urged their horse to catch up with Aadya. "Come on!" The wolf-blood male continued. Their horse paced, jetting them across a sloppy area and again into the woods as the ground blurred under them. "Hyah! Hyah!" He kept going. Aadya finally came to a stop, jumping off onto the earth, she turned on, running. She quickened her pace until steps became leaps. Thuds of her footballs coming closer to each other with each bound forward, pounding in time with her heart. The wind whipped her hair back from her face, her cloak drifting with the speed. At the great speed of their horse, Alisdair jumped off and darted to seek her immediately. Gut-wrenching, heart-pumping— suddenly came an intense force of wave that coerced him painfully against a tree trunk. The outbreak rents the air as if it was intent on shattering the universe by ripping apart every fraction. It spreads far, hurling Gunnar off the horse and everything on its way, that the trees barely lived through. To the sound of the blast came the painful cry of anguish. That which tore from the depth of Aadya's soul. She just wants to live, but life is what her mother twists. She has deliberately manipulated Aadya's mind. And in the end, she was left infinitely and utterly shattered. Again, she seared the air in a way that left what was left, completely destroyed. Deep emotions stir with no other outlet but through her long-lasting sobs, her eyes bleed with pain and her body started to tremble uncontrollably like she had taken a dip in a near-frozen lake during a blizzard. Alisdair made it near her and lingered around as a shield-like energy surrounded her, it was more than what had happened back in the palace. The energy Alisdair was staring at was much more powerful and he feared it. He feared what that power would unleash when it blasts. A combination of different sparks of energy oozed around her like wildfire prepared to terminate anything that came nearer. "Aadya!" Alisdair called out "Aadya you can fight this. Fight it! Please, my love, fight it!” But yet, Aadya was enfolded in the cocoon of many emotions. She wasn't fighting it, she had let them all out, allowing them to take control over her. It blew up in her head with a terrifying blankness. It was nauseating. Every pain felt like a hot, sharp knife, covered in salt, slicing through her skin and into her muscles and bones. She was broken, shattered, and ground into the soil by the heels of her mother. Suddenly, comes the howl of a wolf, alerting all to its presence. And there stood a prominent wolf. Steel grey claws extended from his large black paws. Black fur with silver tips stood straight up and his long snout cringed. Alisdair had shifted to his wolf form as the anguish of his mate dragged him to take every means possible to call her back. His inner voice was no longer whispering it howled. She was his moon, illuminating his soul with her brilliance and he was the wolf, except now her light was being consumed by darkness, the darkness he feared, so he howl for her, howling with longing for her soul to return to him—And she heard him calling for her. The force gradually became lesser, and lesser until it vanished, uncovering the ring formation it had generated around her. And instantly Alisdair shifted back and hurried to her, catching her before she could reach the ground. He knelt, holding her now exhausted body, his hand moving to push the hair off her face, flush and damp with tears. Gunnar arrived at the scene and soon ceased in his tracks as his eyes caught up with the display before him. The bare skin of Alisdair and the seemingly lifeless body of Aadya. He gasp, growing unnaturally still, scared of his thought being real. His chin trembled, eyes were filled to the brim before a single drop rolled down his cheek. Tentatively he moved nearer to them, his lips trembling "Is she– is she alive?" Alisdair gave off a nod though never took his eyes off the one he held in his arms. Gunnar hummed, nodding back as if he was expected of such before his hand dragged across his face, wiping off the tear stains. "Return to the horses. They are restless" Alisdair softly muttered to the young lad. "I will be there with you in no time" Gunnar wiped off his lingering tears and turned, heading back to the horses. Soon, the young lad glimpsed Alisadiar approaching, although he was already grasped in his black pant, he was yet shirtless with Aadya's face lying against his bare chest as he carried her. Slowly he came forth before one of the horses. "We need to keep moving, it is not safe here. We know not how far those energies reach and if anyone was affected by it, they might want to find the source of it. And that might be a whole army"
