Chapter 4: Under His Control

1143 Words
Rafael’s bare chest pressed against her as he carried her through the dimly lit hallway, his steps slow and deliberate, almost predatory. Elena’s arms clung tighter around his neck, her pulse racing so fast she could feel it in her ears. Her lips still tingled from the kiss they’d shared moments ago—the one that shouldn’t have happened, yet somehow felt inevitable. When he pushed open the bedroom door, the scent of his cologne hit her like a wave—woodsy and sharp, mingling with something uniquely his. The room itself felt dangerous, the shadows dancing on the walls like silent witnesses to what was about to unfold. At the edge of the bed, Rafael didn’t lower her right away. He paused, his dark eyes boring into hers, as though asking a silent question that she wasn’t sure she knew how to answer. Her breath came in shallow pulls, her lips parting, but before she could speak, his head dipped. His mouth claimed hers in a kiss so deep it stole the air from her lungs. --- The kiss wasn’t rushed—no, it was slow, commanding, designed to unmake her piece by piece. His hand slid from her waist up her spine, fingers splaying against the bare skin exposed by her low-cut dress. A shiver ran down her body, and Rafael felt it, the corner of his mouth twitching in dark satisfaction. When he finally laid her down on the bed, Elena felt the mattress dip beneath his weight as he hovered above her. Her hands instinctively roamed over his shoulders and chest, her fingers tracing the hard muscle beneath his warm skin. Rafael didn’t move for a moment. He just watched her, his eyes heavy-lidded, his jaw tight as though holding back something primal. --- Her fingers toyed with the waistband of his pants, but before she could go any further, Rafael caught her wrists midair. A sharp inhale escaped her lips as he pinned her hands above her head with one of his own. The way his thumb brushed lazily over her pulse made her heart pound harder, heat pooling low in her belly. “Rafael—” He silenced her with another kiss, this one harder, deeper, leaving her no room to think. --- His free hand slid down her side, tracing the curve of her waist before finding the zipper of her dress. Slowly, deliberately, he tugged it down. The sound of it lowering filled the charged silence between them. The dress loosened, slipping over her shoulders and pooling at her waist. Rafael leaned back slightly, his eyes sweeping over her with such intensity it made her squirm beneath him. Her chest rose and fell rapidly under his gaze, but he didn’t give her time to be self-conscious. His mouth returned to her neck, kissing a trail along her collarbone. When his teeth grazed her skin, a soft gasp escaped her lips. --- Elena tried to move her hands, but his grip held firm. The small struggle only seemed to amuse him, a dark smirk curving his lips against her throat. She arched into him, her body betraying her even as her mind screamed at her to stop. Her thoughts scattered completely when he shifted his weight, pressing her deeper into the mattress, his free hand sliding up her thigh in a slow, torturous caress. --- The heat between them grew unbearable. Each brush of his fingers, each deliberate press of his hips against hers, set her nerves alight. When her lips parted in a soft moan, Rafael’s smirk deepened. Her eyes fluttered open, and she caught the molten look in his gaze—so raw, so consuming, it made her stomach twist in a way that scared and thrilled her all at once. --- His mouth crashed against hers again, more demanding this time. He released her wrists, and her hands immediately slid into his hair, pulling him closer, trying to match his pace. But Rafael was still leading, still controlling every movement, and Elena felt herself melting under his touch. His fingers found the hem of her dress again, tugging it lower until it slipped off completely. The cool air of the room brushed her bare skin, but Rafael’s warmth quickly replaced it as his hands skimmed her curves possessively. --- Their breaths grew ragged, the sound of their bodies moving together filling the room. Elena let her head fall back against the pillows, her lips parting in a soft sound she couldn’t suppress. Rafael’s lips brushed her ear, his voice low and husky. “You’re not going anywhere tonight.” Before she could respond, he pulled her hips flush against his, guiding her in a slow rhythm that made her toes curl. Her nails dug into his shoulders as she clung to him, heat and tension winding tighter and tighter in her core. And just when she thought she couldn’t take any more, Rafael’s lips captured hers in one final, searing kiss. The room blurred around them, their bodies tangled in heat and hunger until nothing else existed but the fire they’d lit between them. The room was quiet, the soft glow of moonlight casting shadows over the tangled sheets. Elena’s breath was steady, but Rafael’s restless movements stirred beside her. Without opening his eyes, he reached for her, his fingers tracing the curve of her waist, pulling her closer as if the night wasn’t enough. His lips found the hollow beneath her ear, brushing softly at first, then pressing harder, leaving a trail of heat. Elena’s body responded instantly, a soft sigh escaping her lips as she melted against him. His hands slid beneath her, fingers exploring, gentle but insistent. He shifted, his bare chest pressing against her back, the steady beat of his heart syncing with hers. Slowly, he eased her onto her back, his mouth trailing kisses down her neck, pausing to capture the delicate spot that made her shiver. Her hands curled into fists, gripping the sheets as his touch deepened, a silent conversation between desire and restraint. His eyes caught hers briefly, dark and filled with an unspoken promise. Without words, Rafael took her again — slow, deliberate, his every movement a command she willingly obeyed. The world outside the room ceased to exist, leaving only the heat, the touch, and the quiet intimacy of two souls burning in sync. -- After their shared rhythm slowed, their breaths mingling in the quiet darkness, Rafael rested his forehead gently against Elena’s. His hands stayed warm on her waist, steadying both their heartbeats. Elena’s eyes fluttered closed, the tension of the night easing into calm. His steady presence was the only thing she needed as the world slipped away. Without another word, they settled into the quiet embrace of sleep—wrapped in each other, safe and silent beneath the moonlight.
