Chapter 9: Not Today, Satan, I Mean Sera

269 Words
After Col woke up, I gave them both a minute to really process what I had just told them. Col’s eyes fogged over, which I assume means he is talking to his wolf. You should ask what his name is. Sera asked, but it was really a statement. Fine. Drama Queen. “Hey Col, if you’re not too busy, what’s your wolfs’ name?” I requested confidently. He looked caught off guard as he abruptly finished his mental conversation. “Oh, yeah. His name is Cane.” He paused for a second, then continued with something that almost made me faint. “He wants to know your wolfs’ name too.” “I’m not a werewolf, so she’s not a wolf…” I thought about that for a second. “Sera!” Sorry not sorry, Sera chuckled. “Whoa, did you not know?” Cristal exclaimed. “No, not really!” I said at a normal volume, totally didn’t shout. Yep. And this is why I didn’t tell you, Sera stated, like she hid the fact that I’m a werewolf, for my better interests. I do not need fur, shaving is already hard enough. Before I rejoined the conversation I really wanted to be a part of, I asked Sera if there was anything else she had neglected to tell me. No. Not really. Just that your wolf form is a white wolf that is super rare and blah, Sera said nonchalantly. I swear, if there’s a way to kill her without dying, I’ll do it. “Her name is Sera. And supposedly, I’m a white wolf.”
