Hart knew what was due his captain and crewmates, and now the refugees who had joined them.
After sleeping an entire day—not his intention, but Sarah had refused to allow anyone to disturb him—he was going hunting.
The Sarah O. wasn’t large enough to carry all the game the captain wanted Hart to provide for crewmembers and refugees, so Bar would accompany him in the supply tender.
The captain wasn’t happy when he’d realized Hart was taking the Sarah O. “Is that necessary, Hart?”
“It will be easier to track game in her, sir,” he explained.
“The chief sci tech has developed a solar-type panel he wants to install on your pod.”
“He hasn’t spoken to me of it.”
