Mary-Kate’s POV
Never in my life has waking up from sleep been this difficult. I have tried so hard to get out of this deep slumber. Slowly I feel my body gaining consciousness as the light hits my face. I shut my eyelids tight to prevent any light from entering.
My body feels strange, it feels nothing like mine. I feel sore and drowsy at the same time. It is like the bed I am in is spinning around like a Mary go round. I slowly open my eyes, adjusting to the light in the room.
I slowly sit up holding my forehead with one hand. My head is pounding very loudly. I have a massive headache. Did I get hit by a train or did a horse kick me because this headache is bad. I look around and nothing looks familiar. I cannot recognise the room I am in.
