“Hey babe guess what we got!” Billy comes in class with so much excitement after our short break.
He takes his seat in front of me with a wide smile. His smile is dangerous to trust if it’s something good or bad.
“Yes Billy, what’s with all the excitement?” I ask once he's all settled.
“We got these.” He unwraps his hands revealing two beautiful charity badges. “Our stand made the most money during the Fundraiser last week Friday so we have been awarded these.”
The fundraiser was a week ago. The same time I got my first kiss with Jordan.
“Wow these are beautiful.” I pick one of the badges.
“We also get medals which we can collect before the end of the day.” He says.
