Chapter Thirteen
Noah left the presidential residence with a mix of emotions swirling inside him.
When he arrived home, the house felt emptier than usual.
He was tired, but noticed something when he came inside
He checked the house and noticed Rachel isn't home yet.“Anna, where’s Rachel?” he asked Ana, who was tidying up in the living room.
“She’s still at work, sir,” Anna replied, looking up from her task.
Noah frowned, glancing at the clock. It was late and she hasn't gotten home yet. He had actually forgotten to pick her up after the visit to his friend, who is the president.
