Jim found the drive to Evelyn’s parents’ new house long and windy. A mile in California felt like five. He looked out the window on his left. A metal railing prevented him from driving off the road and helped guide him during foggy days like today. Despite the fog, he managed to still enjoy the view presented to him, reminding him of his time spent in Europe. Even as tunnels directed him across the mountain, and at times blocked out almost all light, the scenery blessed Jim.
