I’m down in your drive circle, Drake texts. Whenever you’re ready.

“I have to go.” Much as I wanted that cup of coffee, I set it aside on the kitchen counter and rush into the office to collect my laptop and anything else I think I might need.

There wasn’t much point to me meeting with Drake to uphold my part of the bargain between he and Channing when we first got home from Ireland. Besides being kind of exhausted, I didn’t have the access I needed from KDS to do what I need to before completing my on-boarding orientation.
