Jennifer's POV
"Who is he?" I ask. Sophia opens her mouth, and then a shot sounds through the room. I duck behind the table, drawing my gun. Alex storms in and lands on me, protecting me with his body.
"Sophia!" I shout. The others come running in, and everyone looks around in surprise. I push Alex away from me and jump up. I run around the table, but it is too late. Sophia is dead.
"Take Mia out of here! Now! Her life is in danger," I shout. I don't know what happened. How the hell did somebody shoot her? I look at the window next to me, and it is shattered. It must be a sniper. Megan and Enrico have run out. They must be on their way to Mia. I feel shaken like a leaf. How did they know where I was? And how did they know where Sophia was?
