Everybody is staring at Alex and me. This is why I wanted to keep our relationship a secret. How will we explain to all of them when and where we became so close to each other? We were only on the estate for a few nights. I wonder what my son is thinking, just standing there speechless. Except for Megan showing her shock with the words I'll be damned, everyone else is just quiet after Laurence stop shouting. I do not know what to say. Alex walks over to me and takes my hand in his. He looks at everybody as if he's waiting for any of them to say anything.
