I have been so busy, I didn't have time to call my parents and tell them that Carmen ran away with Manuel. I know it's a lie, but sometimes my father shouldn't know the truth. I will tell my mother the truth, but not my father. My father is crazy about Carmen, and I do not understand why. She had her way with him. She could always manipulate him to believe her. I don't know how she could have done it. Even my brothers and sisters, the rest of my family, were under her spell. I do not know how they could not see through her. Carmen was an evil person.
