He closes his eyes in the bottom and lie down on the bottom of the water. Then he opens his eyes and swim back to the top.

To cook one must have the necessary ingredients. The ingredients could be bought in the system store or manually found.
The host is recommended to find the ingredients by themselves.
The path to self-improvement is endless. The price of ingredients and other related items regarding the Cook Life Skill will depend on what other manufacturing life skill the host had already learned.
To raise the level of cook rank, either spend Life Skill points or accepts quest that would be given to rank up or cook some dishes that would satisfy the requirements of the system.

When one is cooking certain dishes and manages to cook it successfully or making a dish that is out of expectation and delicious, Life Skill points would be added to help the host
The harder the dishes that needs to be cooked the more life skill the host would get. The Life Skill points given is adjusted accordingly to the host power level and host experience in cooking
TIP: Cooking the same dishes over and over again might see a decrease in the Life Skill point that would be rewarded

Li Xian then ranks up the Cook skill to Journeyman level which cost him 6210 life skill points. He still has a lot of points and then he checks the Craftsman description

The Craftsman is a manufacturing life skill that allows the host to all kinds of equipment that includes jewelry and certain equipment from all kinds of materials.
To learn the skill, the host has to purchase the Craftsman Letters to his Brother in the system store
To use the life skill, the host must have a hammer. Upon learning the skill, the practitioner will receive the title Craftsman Novice and can perform craftsman skills.
To craft an item one must have the necessary materials. The materials could be bought in the system store or manually found.
The host is recommended to find the materials by themselves.
The path to self-improvement is endless. The price of ingredients and other related items regarding the Craftsman Life Skill will depend on what other manufacturing life skill the host had already learned.

He now had another Life Skill points and he instantly uses his life skill points to rank up Craftsman Life Skill to Journeyman level using up another 6210 points.
He still has another 27,580 Life skill points. Looking at it, he could rank up both Cook and Craftsman Life skill to expert level
‘Heh. Why should I care too much. This is the investment for my future living’ he smirks and then uses 24,000 points to rank up both Craftsman and Cook life skill into the expert rank.
