Li Xian immediately rank up both the [Sword Proficiency] and [Dagger Proficiency] to master level. That cost him 1230 martial skill points.
He then is about to buy a martial arts technique when the wolves come out from the bushes. Li Xian took a deep breath.
He closes his eyes and take a deep breath. His focus is at the peak right now. he could hear the howling of the world and the sound of the wind rustling across the veins of a leaf.
He could smell the scent of the wolves and sense their killing desire. This is because he had Life energy after he opened the first meridian
He waited.
The wolf come closer and then howling one of the wolf charged toward him. Li Xian open his eyes and an aura of a master emanated from his body.
His mastery of using sword is at master level.
That did not mean he is a sword master that could cut down everything in the world.
it means he is very familiar with the sword. It was like he had been training sword for decades and knew the feeling of the sword in one hand.
The hut had holes in many places. With one glance he could see all of the flaws around the area.
Some of these holes is big enough for a wolf to charge in. Others are small. Thankfully these wolf are starving and probably won’t notice the hole and attack like some intelligent beast.
In the front of the hut, one of the wolf is only a few feet before Li Xian.

And then the wolf lunged toward him, its sharp teeth is heading toward. The size difference between them is apparent. The wolf is a feet taller than him
Normal kid would be frozen right now and get eaten obediently.

Taking a deep breath, feeling his energy flowing through his hand he sidesteps to the left, his lightness body skill aided him in making the move to appear light and gentle.
The wolf charge missed, its body enter the hut, a flash of light appeared and the head and the body of the wolf separated.
The wolf enters the house, dead in one feet.
The other wolf that saw the dead of one of their pack did not halt. They howled even louder, their eyes fierce and they become even more vicious
They all charged toward the hut, their howling fills the area calling more of their kind probably.
Li Xian could not cover every part of the hut and his senses could not count all probability.
But at least he did not need to worry about being attacked from behind.
Now that his sense is sharper than before, even though he could not be like a grandmaster in the martial path hearing the sound of a needle falling onto the snow, he could clearly distinguish the loud sound of the running wolf if they ever broken the hut from behind.
Another wolf lunges toward him.
Li Xian focus did not break.
He uses Swift Strides, jumping high, his eyes are sharp and his stamina is still in top shape.
The wolf misses its target, flying below Li Xian feet.
Li Xian did not wait for the wolf to land.
A sound of something tearing the wind reverberates around the area. A flash of light appears, a dagger stabs the wolf head, penetrating four inches into the wolf brain.
Blood splatters drenched the wooden floor.
Li Xian then is about to land but he grabs the eaves of the door and hang as the wolf behind the dead wolf also miss its target, entering the empty hut.
The wolf lunges behind the other wolf, hoping to catch him when he landed but Li Xian had saw it and grab the eaves.
If he learns another lightness skill, he would learn how to change direction when up in the air.
Li Xian quickly grab the chance. He landed back down, gently like a feather.
His hand shot out a dagger, flies and pierce the wolf eyes. The wolf howls in pain, a second later a flash appears and the wolf also dies.
Once again in front of the door, there stands Li Xian his sword pointed to the charging wolves.
At the tip of the sword, a droplet of blood slides down beautifully.
The moonlight shines around the hut and the sharpness of the sword seems to be reflected in the gleaming lights of the moon.
