TARA "Goodness! You look stressed out, Tara. Was the work that much?" My mother in-law asked right at the doorway, hovering her gaze on me. Where I stood outside the house, I began to pray she doesn't notice anything different about me aside from the stressed skin. In fact, I had my hands touching my hair and clothes, just to make sure everything was intact. "Um... Yeah. That man's place is a whole lot of mess," I responded, pulling myself into the house with my feet dragging on the ground. "You need to see how I arranged that place and gave it a make over. Even Theodore had no words to say when he the finished work. I shunned that plumber real good," I chuckled, reaching for the couch. I had to grab the head for support before I lose my balance and stagger right into mother's arms.
