I would be lying if I said watching my little spitfire whither and cry out during her punishment did not stir something inside of me. Seeing her crawl to my twin was like watching a wild animal camouflaging for those around her. Pretending that she is docile and playful; until she gets close enough and strikes.
That’s what I see when I look at Christopher or Isabella. I groan out while I lay in bed thinking about this situation that we have brought ourselves in. We are all playing a dangerous game.
