After Ash had bandaged me up and left my room that was the last time that I had seen him. Throughout the rest of the week, I did not hear from the leader of the bunch and none of the brothers gave the indication that they would tell me.
“Most likely he went to handle business that was important,” Colin mentioned in passing during one night.
That did not help my curiosity.
“I think you should leave it alone, spitfire. You have gotten into enough trouble,” Noah said during the time he pulled my out of the room to aid him in the kitchen. He briefly told me that he did not want the twins in his kitchen making a mess.
