The wedding
After two years involved in a relationship, the couple made of the mason Joao Cavalcanti and the domestic servant Sofia Ramos were finally sealing the union. After signing the marriage license, formally kiss, take some photos and head to the proper party, at the bride’s home, in a neighbourhood on the outskirts of Recife. On the way, the couple uses a borrowed car, face the chaotic traffic common in a capital and after some time, seemingly interminable, they arrive at the destination, accompanied by some close relatives.
