AS SOON as Adda entered her house she knew something was off. Her body felt hefty, as if chains pinged her to the clean wooden floor. Her mom was right outside of the kitchen, looking at her with her hands accommodated on her hips. Adda tried to predict what was gonna be the next punishment about, but nothing came to her mind.
