Alaric's POV:
Most manipulative and underground tactics I use, were picked up from my father.
He believed in the rich being superior. He believed in women supporting men and never rising. He believed in getting what he wanted no matter who he tramples on.
He was always two steps ahead of his rivals. That is how he stays in this field.
I was skeptical about this tactic working on Tangshou, but it did.
The entire council rises when he comes in, and a bright light shines in my soul. My heart pounds in my chest as we sit.
I can finally have the inheritance.
I can now prove to my father that I am the son he's looking for. The son he's searching for far and wide.
I will be able to beat Chrollo with this.
