Chapter 7 – Aviana’s Soul

The Academy is unexpectedly huge compared to what I had in mind. You can tell from the ambiance of the place that it contains dangerous people. I found my way towards the dormitory which took me an hour to find. I’m silently observing the people from this building because I still do not know if this is the girl’s dormitory.

After a while, I noticed there were only girls who are going in and out of this building, some were still in their pajamas while some were already in their uniform.

"Do you want us to help you?" Someone said out of nowhere.

It made me look behind me, it was that weak guy who asked. They both followed me silently.

"And why would I want help from you? Besides, why would you even help me?" I asked. He smiled at me first before answering. He looks weak but I can sense that he is not that easy to argue with.

"I'm Tyler and this is my twin brother Liam but you probably know about that. We are willing to help since we know Mr. Azier and he talked to us about you last night." He stated. I looked at them both. They seem serious.

Can I trust them?

I better get some information first.

"Do you know anything?" I asked, I noticed Tyler smirked for a brief moment.

"Of course." He answered cheerfully.

To my surprise, he went towards me and grabbed my shoulders.

"Don't touch me," I said gritting my teeth, glaring at him so intensely. I'm trying so hard not to get pissed right now.

I don't want any strangers touching me!

Other than that, he already touched me... TWICE!

"Relax. I just want you to see someone." He said and turned me to my right.

I was confused at first but I had no choice, then he suddenly came closer to my face.

"We found her," Tyler whispered while looking at someone.

I searched for the person whom they were looking at. Near a tall oak tree, I saw a girl in her uniform who just stood up. She might be heading to her class.

So, this is her?

She has long dark silky hair, blue eyes, pinkish lips but has weak physic. She looks average but she seems so fragile like this guy who's still holding my shoulder. Damn it!

I quickly removed his hands away and was about to walk toward the girl but Liam stopped me from doing so.

"What the hell are you doing? Don't make sudden moves." He angrily said to me. It's better to interrogate her now while she's still sane and not killing anyone.

Besides, didn't they say that they found her?

"Don't tell me you're not yet sure that it's her?" I asked irritated. He didn't answer me, just as I thought.

"Let's just continue to observe her until she turned 18 this month," Liam said.

This month?

Thank goodness it's this month. My mission will end soon enough. Hence, I sighed and looked at the two.

"Then, let's find out if it's truly her," I replied.

"I'm Vivian, Vivian Yve Dandlers. Let's work together." I said and the twin both smiled at me.

But then, I saw them flinch. They weren't looking at me. It made me look at where they were staring at. It was the girl a while ago.

"What's her name?" I asked.

"Livia," Tyler said without looking at me.

"Then are you just going to stand there and look at her while she's being harassed by those guys?" I asked.

"This often happens, let her be," Liam said and walked away.

What a heartless person!?

Well, what would I expect?

Those who are involved in this f*****g world of ours have no f*****g heart and I am now included.

"You let her be but I won't just stand here," I said and started to walk towards where she is.

I heard Liam calling my name but I didn't listen. I shouldn't be acting like this but if anything happens to her, I will fail my mission. This isn’t because of me pitying her, this is for my mission and that is all to it.

Those guys were still pulling her bag away from her.

Why can’t she just let it go?

One of them was already holding her arm. They might be asking for money but she isn't giving them any, so now here they are harassing her.

Stupid messed-up brats!

"Move those filthy hands off her," I said when I finally got near them.

Wow, they look like s**t!

Surprisingly, they only laughed at me.

What's so funny?

Also, I'm not kidding when I said that they look like shits because literally, they look like poop with those hairdos and faces.

Like hell?

Where did these people come from?

Yet, I noticed the boy holding her arm already let go.

"Are you talking down on me? Do you know who I am?" The boy who is in front of me asked. He has red spiky hair and a bulky body.

"Yes. I don't know you. Who the hell would like to know your stupid name when it has no value in this world? But may I revert that question? You! Do you want to know who I am?" I asked annoyed and looked him straight in the eye.

I saw him gulp but my eyes widened when I saw one of them point a knife at Livia's neck. I deeply sighed. They are using their petty weapons. Before, they only use their fists to fight but now, what a coward!

"I'll count to three and if you don't move your hands away from that girl. I'll make you pay." I calmly said while glaring at them one by one. However, they didn't tremble by my warning. They are getting on my damn nerves.

"1..." I started to count.

"2..." They're still not moving

"Damn," I whispered and looked at them.

"3..." I said smirking.

The last number came out of my mouth as I immediately ran towards the guy who has the knife. I grabbed his wrist and kicked the knife off his hands. He looked at me surprised. I just left him with a devilish grin and started to hit him on the face.

When I finally stopped, he fell onto the muddy ground. It just rained last night. Just as I thought, these stupid spoiled brats don’t know how to fight. They just scare people with their weapons and shits.

"Run," I said to Livia. She hesitated at first but in the end, she hurriedly ran away from us.

I looked at these two remaining and they were trembling in fear. Now, this is the reaction that I wanted to see. I slowly walked towards them but a hand stopped me from getting nearby.

I immediately looked at the person who was still holding my arm. I don't know him.

However, my heart skipped a beat without me realizing it when he looked me in the eyes. Though his eyes were wearing those reading glasses, his golden eyes were looking at me as if they were searching for my soul inside.

A familiar face yet, I do not know where have I seen it.

Do I know him?

"This is enough." He spoke.

I snap back to reality when he finally talked. I didn't even notice that I was staring at him for a long time. However, I saw those three took that chance to run away from me.

DAMN IT!

"Who the hell are you?" I asked pissed but he simply chuckled in return.

I mean seriously?

Who the f**k is he to stop me from punishing someone?

"You shouldn't have stopped her." Someone said behind my back and when I looked at the one who talked, it was Liam who is with Tyler. I thought they turned their backs away and left.

"You said to stop her." This guy simply said and again looked at me strangely. Even so, he smiled after that and suddenly lifted my chin.

"This girl looks interesting." He added. I immediately removed his hand away from me.

"Who are you?" I asked once again.

"This is Vlad Declan Kearne," Tyler said.

It made me look at him. This tall man who has dark hair and golden eyes is Vlad Declan Kearne. I heard about his family from Mr. Azier.

I can trust him too, right?

I was about to say something but then someone suddenly shouted his name.

"VLAD!"

That's what I heard and when I looked at the person who shouted his name it was Livia. She was smiling so widely as she was running in our direction.

What is this?

My hands got numb but then I looked at the twins. They were just averting my gaze.

What do they mean don't make sudden moves, when they f*****g started a move?

Fuck this!

This will surely turn into a mess.
