Hikaru came to my apartment today to pick me up. He said he wanted to go shopping for new school supplies he’ll need, so I agreed to accompany him instead of sulking up in my room. There was no reason for me to say no to him after all. We were just dropping by the ice cream store when we ran into people I wasn’t planning to talk to for a few days.
The two of them stopped in front of us and I noticed Hikaru pulling me to his back. That was when I realized he was being caring and protective. He knew most of how I felt towards Mark. Maybe he figured it was best to move me away from him, to protect my heart from getting shattered.
“N-Nami.” Sophee removed her arms that were around Mark’s arms.
It was a good thing that Hikaru pulled me to his back so they won’t see how sad I was seeing them
