Pat read the forensic report on the scene of George Young’s death. He and Lina had been released temporarily from the taskforce to explore the implications of the evidence attached to George Young’s disappearance and apparent suicide. The first thing Pat noticed in the images that formed an integral part of the report was the amount of water around the body. Unfortunately, from a forensic analysis perspective, it had rained between the time George Young had gone missing and his body had been found, thanks to the unseasonal weather pattern that had dumped a record-breaking amount of rain across the northern parts of the state.
