Graduation

408 Words
Seoul, 2014 Sandy: Happy graduation, Gale! Look, Aster! The little girl looks cute with her diploma and toga! He yells loudly, amidst all the other graduates around them to get Aster's attention. Aster smiles widely, feeling a sense of pride looking at Gale in her graduation clothes and holding her diploma while Sandy takes pictures of her non-stop. Wanting to memorialize this moment. Aster: She sure does. Gale rolls her eyes and groans at her pseudo brother and sister. Gale: I don't understand why I even have to go to school! The lessons were so boring and I already know them, to begin with. This was such a waste of my time. Hmpft. Aster: Oh, come on! Didn't you even make friends? A teasing laugh escaped Sandy's lips and he looks at Aster with a knowing gaze. Sandy: Oh she made friends all right. Just not the kind that we want. Aster: Ya Gale! Are you dating?! Fake shock, laughing eyes, mouth covered with her hand. They were having fun teasing the young graduate who responded with her equal amount of teasing. Gale: What? No! Why would I waste my time dating someone when I can just go straight to bed with them. Sandy was mortified. He was the big brother after all and to him, Gale was still a child. Well, she's also a cold-blooded killer, but still, a child. Sandy: Hey, excuse me? Virtue!? Gale smiles naughtily and rolls her eyes. Gale: What's that? The two women laugh out loud much to Sandy's annoyance. He hates it when his girls do this. He totally feels like a dad right now. Knowing that the topic irritates their very prudent brother, Aster continues with the teasing. Aster: Was he at least good in bed? Gale: She. Was very good in bed. Sandy raises his eyebrows at mock surprise and looks pointedly at Aster. Sandy: Oh. That's how it is? Yeah, Aster. She definitely takes after you. His best friend scoffs at him and shrugs her shoulders. Aster: At least she's not gonna get pregnant. Gale: Hmm... I didn't say I only slept with girls though. Both adults look at Gale with a mix of real shock and irritation. Aster & Sandy: Hey! After a few seconds, all three of them go into a fit of laughter, happy that for once in their life, they could enjoy the simple things in life like normal people do, events like graduations.
